EvenShift builds your team's week and proves it's fair. Other scheduling tools optimize the owner's labor cost. EvenShift optimizes fairness to the worker and shows its work. Every schedule computes a fairness score, spreads hours evenly, and gives every shift a plain-language reason: "asked for more hours," "had the fewest so far," "only person free." FOR STAFF • See your week the moment it's published with the reason behind every shift • Set availability, request days off, and say if you want more or fewer hours • Your requested days off are never scheduled over. Ever. • Grab open shifts before they're gone • Team chat with reactions and managers can see every channel, honestly labeled • One-tap calendar sync and push notifications the moment your week is out FOR MANAGERS • Generate a fair week from your phone in seconds • The fairness readout on every schedule: score, hours per person, gap, budget • Resolve open shifts, approve pickups, publish from the floor, not the office • The full roster and everyone's availability, anywhere One account, everywhere: the app and evenshift.ca are the same product, live-synced. In your team's language English, français (Québec), and español. Free 3-day trial for new workplaces. Workers always use EvenShift free. Pay: see your hours, wage and tips for each pay period. When your manager closes a period, the numbers lock, and your paystub shows up in the app. Tips: managers enter the day's tip pool and EvenShift splits it by hours worked. Every person sees their share. Shift feedback: after a shift, tell your manager how it went with one tap. Managers can rate shifts too, so both sides are heard. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-31 The biggest EvenShift update yet, for managers and staff alike.
