However, this past month or so the app hasn’t allowed me to log in. It displays an ‘Invalid Credentials’ message, despite those credentials working on the website. Overall a 3/5 due to the app previously being great but now not working. ### 3/5 — Issue with the Widgets *2026-01-17, version 10.5.0* Whenever I add a widget to see the movie I have booked, it doesn’t show anything. It stays blank and only shows the current time in the middle. Nothing has been showing up ever since the widgets have been added. Can this be fixed please. ### 3/5 — No Longer Useable *2025-11-18, version 10.4.0* Was a great app initially, now I am “in offline mode” and app doesn’t work. Because I told me that the only times were available when 9pm gold class. ### 4/5 — Good app *2025-07-28* The app is great to browse movie options, book, buy food and drinks when in the GC lounge, etc. but it’s 2025 and we still have to open the app and have the brightness blind us just to access our cinebuzz card 😭😭 when can we expect an “Add to Apple Wallet” option for the membership barcode? So much easier to open apple wallet with a double click at the POS when ordering tickets in person. Such a sham as we used to visit often for kids movies ### 1/5 — horrible *2026-03-15, version 10.6.1* my mum bought tickets for me and my friend for scream 7 and they told us we couldn’t go in because we didn’t have an id but my mum bought the tickets for us i had my mums permission and there not my mum ### 1/5 — Every booking fails *2026-01-27* Absolutely useless app. Every time you try and book seats, you get to payment after reserving. The payment fails regardless of method and says to “contact us”. But the seats you had reserved are blocked out. I managed to block four rows of 3 seats after 4 attempts trying to transact. Going digital is fine - but when you can’t do the basics of paying for a movie booking you know it’s rubbish! How hard is it to make an app that lets you book movie tickets and pay! ### 1/5 — Violate users right to taking screenshots *2025-03-10, version 10.1.2* I bought 4 adults tickets for friends. We drove 2 cars. And the app doesn’t allow taking screenshots of parking tickets? How can I send the parking ticket for my friend’s car to exit the shopping mall? How dare you disallowed users from taking screenshots on their own mobiles? This is not for DRM/copy right issue or sensitive information like banks account. Even bank apps allow users taking screenshots for transactions. Apple should ban you from use that API. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Liv activities is a game changer *2024-07-26* I've been using the Event Cinemas app for a long time now, and it's generally been fantastic. Recently, it has become outstanding with the live activities notifications. These notifications sit on my screen, showing me what time the movie starts and allowing me to quickly check when the movie finishes. Well done on fast fix ! original feedback— App crashes when trying to check in.🙁 Tickets were successfully purchased via the app, but when I arrived at cinema, the app opens ok, but when i try to view the purchased ticket (or check in), the app crashes and shuts down completely. this crash happens every time I reopen the app and try to view the purchased tickets. I am a customer who has Live Activities disabled (for privacy reasons); I presume the DEVs have not checked the stability of the app when Live Activities is disabled. luck the ticket operator was able to pull up my purchase and print paper tickets 😀 **Developer response:** Thanks so much for your feedback. There might be a slight typo in the check in copy.
