## What is Event Timer +?

Event Timer + is a presentation countdown and presenter-notes app for corporate live events—keynotes, town halls, leadership briefings, awards, and hybrid meetings where the in-room screen must stay clear and on time.

Built for how AV teams work
Run a large, readable timer on a Display device (or add a foldback confidence monitor with the display device) while you keep a Controller on a phone or tablet. Presenter notes on the Controller sync automatically to the Display—no “send” step, fewer mistakes under pressure.

Reliable in the venue (IT IS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE YOUR OWN ROUTER)
Controller and Display communicate over your local network. Internet is not required for the two devices to stay in sync—important when guest Wi‑Fi is flaky or locked down.

Simple to deploy
Pair two devices on the same Wi‑Fi access point, choose Controller or Display, and go. Scale the timer (and notes) so they read from the back row or on a side screen.

When pairing fails
Corporate and hotel networks sometimes block device-to-device traffic. If pairing fails, try a personal hotspot, a dedicated router, or ask IT to disable AP/client isolation on the event VLAN. It is recommended to bring and use your own router for reliability.

For event producers, speakers, and in-house AV who need a dependable stage timer and synced notes—without running cables or another laptop OS.
