## What is Eventail?

Eventail is the missing calendar widget for your iPhone.

Eventail brings two nifty calendar widgets:

- A week widget that can display from 3 to 7 upcoming days in a very compact manner.
- A day widget which can display either today's or tommorrow's events.

What makes eventail special?

- The widgets have pages, put multiple copies in a stack and you can scroll on hour homescreen! Ingenious!
- Both widgets are fully themable with custom colors, backgrounds and provide several styles of event displays.
- The larger sizes of the day widget provide shortucts to do more than just look at the even titles.

Eventail used to be such a useful widget but it no longer seems to be supported and hasn’t been updated for 2 years. Since updating to iOS 17 my existing eventail widgets are blank and it doesn’t appear in my widget list so I can’t add any new ones.

Your whole week of events is just one swipe over to the today home screen, and it’s compact and well featured. The interactive mode allows you to quickly open an event in a favorite calendar app, navigate to a location, and open an event url. Eventail is a great widget companion to other full-featured calendar apps.

Looks very nice and it’s what I’ve been searching in others.
I really wish there was an option to hide  weekends and hold the widget on Monday-to-Friday view, always starting on Monday.

This has been a very good app, used daily for a couple of years. I paid for the pro licence. So I was disappointed that it stopped working with ios 15.1. The widget seems to be working a bit better with 15.2, but I still can’t get the settings to load at all.

Do NOT buy the pro version; it does not add the choices that are advertised. I plan to call Apple and request a refund.

The legacy calendar widget had everything I wanted in a calendar widget with the weekly events view and long term upcoming events. 

At first the widgets did not appear in the widget list but they appeared after restarting my phone so it might have been an iOS issue.
