My ticket won’t load on this app. And if you navigate away from the app to do something else, it memory dumps and you have to start all over. Why in the world is this system endorsed by conventions? ### 2/5 — Bare Minimum for Users *2026-07-04, version 2.8.0* Using this for a convention, I was able to find the event, pull up the schedule, and mark favorites. The downsides, however, are many. Every time the app drops from memory, you have to search for your event again. Similarly, the schedule defaults to the first day of the event (even if it’s past), and doesn’t preserve favorite vs full schedule views. It’s nice that the app has maps, but the zoom functionality doesn’t work well and you can pan sidewise, but not scroll down when zoomed in. This means the map can be almost unreadable and/or hidden. Other schedule apps will cross reference guests, so you can click on a panel, click on a guest at that panel and see their schedule. Not Eventeny. You can’t even search for guests. From the organizer side, they seem to like that it allows ticket sales on the same platform. But at registration, they were having to copy and paste from the app into their label maker causing delays. I hope they take feedback and improve this app over time, but based on other feedback, it doesn’t seem like they are very responsive. ### 2/5 — No *2026-04-04, version 2.8.0* App designed for the hypothetical person who opens the app at the convention and thinks “I wonder what convention I’ll go to today. I guess the one I’m at. I’m glad I get to re-decide every time I open the app though” ### 2/5 — Can’t save actual events *2026-03-30, version 2.8.0* I have used this app for 2 years now for a convention that I attend and they still haven’t fixed the main complaint in so many of the reviews. Someone from the app even responded to a review from 3(!) years ago saying that they were working on it. You have to search for an event every time you open the app, there’s no way to save or favorite one that you’re attending. It’s honestly just so annoying. ### 2/5 — I mean it’s alright *2025-07-05, version 2.7.21* I downloaded the app because it told me to for galaxy con but it never showed the actual tickets that I purchased so I’m gonna go to the website but it is kinda cool that I can look at different events and stuff just don’t expect it to actually help you with check ins ### 1/5 — Nearly unusable and basically useless *2025-04-17, version 2.7.11* I can’t click on half the buttons, including the feedback and help buttons, so I can’t even efficiently report that as an issue. Can’t favorite an event, so I have to search for it every time, since I bought my ticket directly instead of through the app. Can’t filter by favorites in the schedule, so it’s useless as a scheduling tool. All it’s good for is just viewing the schedule, which I can more easily do through the event’s direct website. Worse than useless honestly, since the “favorite” button gives the illusion of a helpful feature, but then doesn’t actually do anything useful. I didn’t discover this until after I spent a whole afternoon favoriting scheduled panels for a three day event, thinking I would then be able to view those as a curated schedule. ### 1/5 — Suffocating *2025-04-07, version 2.7.11* Like the review from TWO YEARS AGO pointed out, there is still no way to view favorited panels or events, unless this is possible through the multitude of broken buttons on screen in the profile tab. Similarly from a review at the beginning of February, the profile buttons are broken to the point where this app is unusable and useless for standard attendees. It’s one thing to have an app geared towards event vendors and organizers, but another to try and loop in attendees and have nothing worthwhile working, especially if you can’t view your own profile ### 1/5 — Needs fixing *2025-03-06, version 2.7.5* The app could be good if it would allow you to actually view your applications if you fill one out to volunteer at the events. Yet I can look at my past tickets without a problem on the app. ### 1/5 — Most recent update *2025-02-03, version 2.7.5* After the most recent update, I literally cannot open anything. Cannot select to find further information regarding specific events or even to apply to anything. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2024-04-03, version 1.9.6* I just downloaded the app for my iPhone and after I enter my password and touch the continue button nothing happens so I can’t login to my account and retrieve my tickets. Also, my phone keyboard covers the box where you type in your password so I can’t even see what I’m doing. Useless…… ### 1/5 — Useless App *2024-02-29, version 1.9.4* Font is so large on signin screen that I am unable to sign in. Downloaded app three times and you are out! ### 1/5 — Sign In Options Don’t Match Website *2023-11-30* I wanted to try this app; however, I used Google’s social SSO to log into the website when I created my account/purchased my tickets so I don’t have an account password set. However, the app doesn’t support any of the social SSO login options that are supported on web. This seems quite illogical to me, especially as a UX designer who designs for omnichannel experiences myself. I guess I won’t know if this app will make my GalaxyCon experience better or not since I’m not going to go into my account to set a password I won’t remember next year just to use the app 🥴 ### 1/5 — I just downloaded this app… *2023-06-09, version 1.7.6* I’m going to an anime convention tomorrow and they use this company to do the tickets… I assume that my phone down loaded the newest version of it… and every time I open the app it says there’s a new version available and won’t let me use the ducking app. It might be a fantastic app. I have no idea because it won’t let me access it without downloading the new version that brings me back to this page in which there’s nothing to update. I sure hope this problem gets fixed before the event tomorrow morning at 9am ### 2/5 — Favorites not saving *2023-02-19, version 1.6.9* Feel like most of the profile settings is just a port to the website instead of all in-app. Also the app is not remembering favorited events and panels, or does not have an easy way to view favorited items. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2026-06-17, version 2.8.0* I’ve used this app to sign up to be a vendor at many events and it has worked perfectly until I downloaded it on an iPhone, now it doesn’t have the application option and I can’t figure out how to get to applications ### 1/5 — Sooooo bad *2026-04-03, version 2.8.0* This is a barely functioning app. If you look into the schedule and you click an event to see more, you then go back to the beginning of the day and have to painfully scroll back to find more stuff. I give up after a few wasted minutes. The search feature is useless too. ### 1/5 — Bad *2026-03-23, version 2.8.0* There is no option to save any of the events other than having to type in and manually search for it every time. And for about half of them, there’s no option to sync your tickets with the app. ### 1/5 — A Frustrating App *2025-08-29, version 2.7.21* I don’t often write reviews. This is a very frustrating app that needs a lot of reconstruction and polishing. I would not download it in efforts to make the process of vendor applying easier. It honestly just confuses the process more. The website itself is not good either. I’m hoping the markets I’m applying to choose a different route other than Eventeny. It’s very difficult to navigate and find anything on both the app and website. Hopefully, Eveneteny can look into the output of the company from which a customer sees, as I’m sure the company has been built with good intentions. ### 1/5 — Lame *2025-06-10, version 2.7.21* Events are listed in the app, but what’s the point? Most only have the ability to get directions or add to the calendar. Pretty useless imho. App developers…one really handy and useful thing to include for the events is a link to the events actual website. Otherwise, what is the use of this app?? I sure hope your event creators don’t have to pay to list their events on here. That would be a complete waste of marketing dollars. ### 1/5 — Atrocious UI *2025-04-24, version 2.7.13* The user interface is abysmal. You cannot bookmark, favorite, or otherwise flag an event you’re attending, so each time you want to look up the schedule, map, or other info about it, you must search for it all over again. And it will lose the event every time you exit the app - not Close the app, even just switching to something else momentarily or putting your phone to sleep for a second will be enough to reset it. And then you have to search for the event all over again! I have several other complaints, but I’ve already wasted more time and words on this terrible app than I ever wanted to. If you are considering using this for you convention scheduling, my only advice is this: Don’t. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-04-22, version 2.7.11* Can’t favorite the main event you’re at/going to. Instead, you have to search for it every time you open the app. You CAN favorite panels from the event, but that’s useless because the app doesn’t create a schedule nor a favorites list. It will remember your favorites, when you select/read panel descriptions, but at that point it’s useless. ### 1/5 — terrible. just terrible. *2025-04-19, version 2.7.11* I used this app for Sakura Con and half the time it didn’t work or took a million years to load. nothing else to say, read the title ### 1/5 — Nothing works *2025-04-19, version 2.7.11* You cannot tap on most of the buttons in settings. If you want to change anything, go to the desktop website. You also have to manually search for an event EVERY time you open the app, regardless of if you make an account and save events to your likes. It’s completely non-functional, don’t use this app for your event. ### 1/5 — Freezes when trying to load vendor *2025-04-19, version 2.7.11* The convention I’m going to uses this app and it frustrates me that ever time I try to load the vendors it freezes and stop loading. I can’t even click on vendors details without it freezing on me. It’s so infuriating to use when I can’t even simply scroll down that list.
