### 1/5 — Very glitchy

*2026-03-03*

I deleted the app after trying to make it work for several days. I loved the sleek interface and simple design, but I couldn’t add other admins (they got a blank screen when they opened the link/QR code) and I couldn’t add photos.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback - and sorry to hear you ran into these issues.

What you’re describing (blank screen when inviting admins and problems uploading photos) is not something we typically see - these features usually work reliably across devices. That said, we’re taking this seriously and are looking into possible edge cases where this might happen.

If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to take a closer look - feel free to reach out at support@eventpics.net with a few details about your device.

Thanks again for sharing your experience - it helps us improve.

### 2/5 — "7 days is not 'in good time' – lost all my photos"

*2026-08-07*

I used EventPics to collect photos from guests at an event. Clean, minimal design, setup was mostly smooth (a bit confusing in places), and guests had no trouble using it either.

The issue: their site says you'll get "a reminder email in good time before the event expires so you can download all your photos" — but the reminder came exactly 7 days before deletion, and I missed it among all the other settings and emails. By the time I noticed, it was too late and downloading required a Premium subscription. My photos were basically gone unless I paid up.

The product itself is solid and the pricing seems fair, but a 7-day window is too tight to count as "in good time." Because of this I'm looking for a different solution.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that this was a frustrating experience.

We understand how disappointing it is to lose access to photos from an important event. To clarify our retention policy: free events have an expiration date, while Premium events do not. Event creators receive a reminder email 5 days before the event expires and another email when it expires. After expiration, the event is kept for an additional 7 days and can still be restored during that grace period. Only after those additional 7 days are all photos and data permanently deleted.

We appreciate your comment about the reminder timing. We'll take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve the service and make the retention process even clearer.
