Your frequency region is now confirmed offline, so it works with no signal — a significant improvement on iPhone. Your location stays on your device instead of being sent to Apple or Google. Kinmen, Matsu, Penghu and Xiaoliuqiu are correctly recognised as Taiwan. And frequencies are never set from a guess: if your region can't be confirmed, Group Settings will ask you to choose.

Frequencies now match where you are.
• RFTag now uses the LoRa band that's legal in the country you're in, detected from your mobile network, SIM, or phone language. The country in Group Settings is fixed to that region.
• Group QR codes from another country can no longer retune your radio to that country's band.
• Settings saved before this update are moved to the correct regional band the next time you open the app. Your activity mode and update interval are unchanged.
