### 1/5 — Absolutely useless

*2026-01-28, version 24.3.4*

Trying to sign up for local emergency alerts due to ongoing weather. Three attempts to set up a profile, an app that doesn’t seem to talk to the website, inability to reset a password, and a busted mobile support page..! Forget it. I’ll take my chances with the weather. Nothing’s worth this headache.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-01-27, version 24.3.4*

App is apparently useless. Any search for an area or organization ends with the app unable to locate anything.

### 1/5 — Stopped Working

*2026-01-23, version 24.3.4*

Last alert received was a month ago, and there’s been plenty of storm warnings since then that I didn’t receive. In settings this app prompts you to “migrate” to their new app, but the new app is broken and won’t let me log in with my migrated account. I use Apple Passwords app to auto-fill credentials, so there is no reason for this. Good riddance everbridge!

### 1/5 — New user

*2026-01-08, version 24.3.4*

App sucks trying to register, waste of time! Deleted the App .

### 2/5 — Reset password

*2026-01-03, version 24.3.4*

Can someone tell me how to reset password I forgot my password.

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2025-12-30, version 24.3.4*

The app doesn’t even allow me to login the same way I login on the website.

### 1/5 — Utterly useless

*2025-12-23, version 24.3.4*

I have made repeated attempts to sign in to this app to receive information in my area and it consistently displays that I’m not an active user. I’ve made 2-3 accounts to no avail. None of them are ever recognized. Worst app ever to rely on for safety alerts.

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2025-12-08, version 24.3.4*

This is a very valuable service provided by my local government uses to communicate with citizen and users. No app support. Everbridge refuses to communicate with citizen users. Public Safety agencies should dig very deep before considering spending money with this company.

### 1/5 — My headache

*2025-12-03, version 24.3.4*

To use the app, you must select what notifications you want. Ie push, text, call. That’s great, but my push notification almost never works. And as of today, I can’t turn on any. I hate this app.

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2025-11-20, version 24.3.4*

I don’t know what happened. This app worked with my local emergency alert system for years, and there’s no explanation through Everbridge or my local system. I just have no idea what happened, but it no longer works.

### 3/5 — Good

*2025-11-16, version 24.3.4*

Dark mode desperately needed.

### 1/5 — So slow! It just won't open

*2025-11-14, version 24.3.4*

Installed to catch up with the city's updates where I live. But it has never done its job just because it takes forever to open. I cannot imagine how they choose this app! I am disappointed by the app and how my tax was used

### 2/5 — Unable to SSO on ios 26.1

*2025-11-14*

Trying to login to portal using SSO. It completes the authentication but screen remains blank.

### 1/5 — Ugh - DON’T DOWNLOAD

*2025-11-05, version 24.3.4*

Omg!! I can’t stand this app!! It won’t sent the verification code, when it did, it said I had no subscription.. it doesn’t tell you how to or where to get a subscription. Put my address, school name, zip code into the search bar and NOTHING came up. I went to local, and found my town, but couldn’t click on anything to make it stay on a list or make that a subscription (i think) definitely deleting this app. I’ll stick with my local weather app and google maps when I’m traveling that gives me road work, accidents, alternate routes and police notifications.. worst app ever!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Emergency alerts ghosts /unavailable—

*2025-10-29, version 24.3.4*

This app has yet to function on my phone .. I have deleted ..very concerning

### 1/5 — Developer Needed - iPhone 16Pro and iPhone 16+ iOS Sceen Frozen after updating (10/15/25)

*2025-10-18, version 24.3.4*

Developers Attention Required, (Oct.15, 2025)

Hi, the Apple Engineer & Developer Teams advised me to notify you of the following problems ASAP:
that occurred on (10/15/25), when I encountered a major issue with your most recent app update. This update resulted in completely locking my iPhone 16 Pro and also my iPhone 16 Plus permanently just second’s after updating your app from Apple App Store. I simply went to the Apple Store and Everbridge app showed, updated needed. I then updated the app when instantly and suddenly, the following message appeared on my iPhone screen that read, “I quote…

(EVERBRIDGE WOULD LIKE TO SEND YOU CRITICAL ALERTS… Critical alerts always play a sound and appear on the lock screen, even if your iPhone is muted or in Focus. Manage Critical Alerts in Settings. [DON’T ALLOW] OR [ALLOW])

-end quote”
At that moment, my iPhone completely 100% locked as if it was hacked or broken. I literally couldn’t even touch the glass screen; it felt like I had broken my iPhone screen. In fact, I couldn’t even force my iPhone to turn off using the side buttons or manually forcing an iPhone shutdown. The message above would not go off until the iPhone battery finally died, which happened (7 hours 24 minutes) after downloading your app. I went to Apple Store and IT could not even force my iPhone to shut down.

Once the iPhone battery finally died, I then connected my iPhone to a power charger, and when my iPhone turned back on now (8+ hours later), the message was gone, and I was able to finally access my iPhone once again.

I then reached out to the Apple Developer Team per Apple Store request and they advised me to immediately report this issue to you (the Everbridge Developer Team) for security analysis. They advised your developers will want to identify and fix the problem asap so that you can create a separate bug fix update to this problem and once developed push new updates out to all Everbridge subscribers.

If necessary, let me know and I’m happy to send you via email all the pictures taken by a separate phone of the message and video recording of what occurred that I was able to take as my iPhone became completely unusable, frozen, and unusable.
Thank you!

### 2/5 — False Alerts

*2025-10-16, version 24.3.4*

Sends messages not in English. Also calls randomly with a test message. Good idea

### 1/5 — Charlotte

*2025-09-03, version 24.3.4*

Doesn’t have Charlotte, NC

### 3/5 — Bugs in Notification Feed

*2025-09-02, version 24.3.4*

When I launch the app to review and delete notifications in the feed (that I know are there because of an alert), sometimes the feed shows no notifications at all, until I close the app entirely and reopen it. The same bug applies to deleting notifications in the feed; when I launch the app, the icon that when tapped should show options for deleting notifications instead shows none of those deletion options, until I close the app entirely and relaunch it.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2025-08-20, version 24.3.4*

Don’t recommend. Doesn’t give me local alerts.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Narc

*2026-08-16, version 26.6.1*

Called the cops for no reason highkey a fed I’m gonna fade

### 1/5 — Unable to use

*2026-08-10, version 26.6.1*

Apparently I need an organization code for New York State. Web site login doesn’t show you this and no place in login process to find it. Guess I’ll just be using the web. At least it works.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-08-01, version 26.6.1*

Horrible app. DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP FOR EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS! I’ve been trying to use the app off and on for several years and still can’t get past the sign-up phase. Unable to subscribe to any location’s notifications. Anytime I try to use this or make changes it keeps asking me to sign in, but once I submit my information it just tells me I already have an account. DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP FOR EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS!

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2026-07-21, version 26.6.1*

Doesn’t work

### 1/5 — I’ve never liked this app

*2026-07-10, version 26.6.1*

But it’s even worse with a new iPhone. Needs updating STAT.

### 1/5 — Useless ... with wildfires 10 miles away!

*2026-07-06, version 26.6.1*

I live in Colorado and the 8th (as of this morning) largest wildfire in Colorado history is less than 10 miles from my home. I spent an hour jumping through all their idiotic hoops to get my account setup. And now, when I'm finally ready to subscribe to the freaking EVACUATION alerts I need, it won't let me log in!

I enter my credentials in the login screen and it tells me the account already exists! No duh! I'm trying to log in to the account you just said I created successfully!

So don't get this app unless you're wanting to contribute to the company's profits ... if you want actual useful alerts to keep from dying look somewhere else.

### 1/5 — App is trash

*2026-07-06, version 26.6.1*

This app used to be good, I don’t know what happened. I thought I was signed up for my area, but I keep receiving notifications and emails from a township that is like 50 miles away from me. I went into the app to address my settings, and I was only signed up for two areas that aren’t even relevant to me. When I tried to change them and search for my area, it kept telling me my area did not exist. Then I went to check the map and it kept kicking me out out of the map. I’m just going to delete this app. I used to work for Bucks County 9-1-1 and that’s how I got started with Nixle and Everbridge and they used to be great resources but now they’re terrible. I don’t know what happened or what you guys did to it.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-07-02, version 26.6.1*

It is not useful. Does not alert and does not put up

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2026-03-21, version 24.3.4*

Signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 0. I don’t need an alert every 30 minutes for two days straight about flash flooding because it’s raining.

There are basically no settings but like 20 useless buttons in the UI that make you think maybe you just haven’t checked the right place.

### 1/5 — App not working & not finding my acct at all. Not allowing me to recreate new acct nor find old.

*2026-02-13, version 24.3.4*

Boil water notice never received by Everbridge nor Ready Pinellas for Treasure Island. This was widespread with everyone we spoke with. No boil water texts received!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2025-04-09, version 24.3.4*

Our community has just changed their text nixle’s on to Ever bridge and has gotten more easier now with seeing where incidents are at and different places reports

I would suggest this app if your county has approved of making it.

### 5/5 — Always on point!

*2025-03-23, version 24.3.4*

I got an alert about a recent thunderstorm with hail coming my way and told my spouse to pull the truck in the driveway and within seconds of pulling it in a large hail storm erupted! Saved our vehicle for sure, awesome app!

### 5/5 — Clean and simple app

*2022-12-25, version 22.5.0*

Receiving notifications through the Everbridge app is so much nicer than receiving them through SMS/text. Like that I can review the alert thread in one place, in a clean and simple interface.

### 5/5 — Receive important/emergency notifications

*2022-08-08*

We have two accounts and each have one of our older teens as the second number. In the last two months we’ve had two emergency alerts - both VERY worthy and fast! (Example: One was from our city about a missing child with special needs, in close proximity to us. The other a Fire “red flag” warning). The alerts are faster than other sources in most every case.
* When we first signed up a few years ago we didn’t seem to get notifications. It may be that our local county and city are now actively using Everbridge and encouraging residents to sign up.

### 5/5 — App works fine

*2021-05-15, version 21.1.1*

The app works fine. It gives me updates on alerts in my chosen districts Thanks

### 5/5 — Really Helpful

*2021-03-04, version 20.3.0*

The Everbridge system has been a really reliable method of information

### 5/5 — Here’s why I like it.

*2020-11-19, version 20.2.1*

Push notifications from the app are my preferred way to get alerts. I like the custom tones that can be set, plus the ability to edit my preference on my profile without having to go to the web portal.

### 5/5 — Excellent service

*2020-06-01, version 9.4.5*

I don’t understand why Everbridge is getting crap reviews. The service has been excellent for me over the last year. Maybe people don’t know how to manage the app settings and settings through their phones 🤷🏻‍♀️

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2019-04-04, version 9.0.2*

Helpful info from my company and city - was alerted when a shooting occurred near my home and was able to avoid driving into the area during active police activity. Nice to be able to connect with where I live and work in the same app.

### 5/5 — Cuprapiro

*2015-10-08, version 5.0.0*

Very good
