The battery is now participating in a “grid services program” without my permission. This New App gives me no useful or accurate information about my system at all. My system produces nearly 12 kw but the graph only ever shows a maximum output of 4 kw. My bill period usage is always showing zero. The battery level on the graph show it at zero when it’s actually at 100%. Nothing on this newer App relates to what my system is actually doing. Useless to me. ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work *2020-08-06, version 2005.1* I’ve waited months to see if this app was revised to make it work. But it is literally costing me money as I can’t use it to guide my energy use throughout the day as I could with the old app. The home page is pointless, the graphs aren’t specific enough and the sliding scales make comparing data impossible. The goals and all the other financials are useless unless you can edit your own energy costs and billing cycles etc. I’ve sent bills through to Evergen but nothing has been done to make this segment of the app work. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad app *2025-03-23, version 2114* The app just loops thru the login sms process. Power is sold when there is negative FIT, bought when price are surging. When you seek support, they blame it on your Inverter OEM. My system worked much better when I cut off Evergen’s automation control. It lags hours behind actual input so useless. I’ll use the Tesla app instead. ### 1/5 — Not real time *2021-10-12, version 2106.1* It a pity this app is almost a day behind in showing solar production when other providers are able to provide this functionality. Most importantly is Evergen’s software saves me money ### 4/5 — Mostly excellent *2021-06-05, version 2103.1* Over all this is a great app to help me understand my solar generation and battery usage. One improvement is needed. The savings goals are generic and do not take into consideration the electricity plans. As a result, although I virtually never use grid power (106% of energy is saved) I am constantly being told I am falling behind on even the lowest savings plan. Crazy having to put in phone number and get an sms code each time to log on. Why not have Face ID or just a PIN number for logging on. This morning it showed zero solar generation when it was actually 80-90% of maximum performance. ### 3/5 — Used to be great *2020-08-05, version 2005.1* Not sure what has happened to the app but now every time I go to “ performance “ the app shutdown. ### 3/5 — Display *2020-07-20, version 2005.1* The scales on the Peformance page are wrong. The Peak solar power scale should maximise at the peak power of the system and not the 3kW on the display. The Battery storage graph shows zero when it is actually 100%. Home power usage is limited to 2kW and clearly much less than displayed on the Powerflow page. ### 2/5 — Too many Outages *2023-09-17, version 2112.19* I’ve had this system for 4 years now and it still is frequently out and my system ‘s status is not visible. Today it got worse as the chat function stopped working as well! Also the system status when it is working lags by up to an hour at times in its reporting view. It needs a lot more work. I get quite annoyed when I hear of friends who have solar systems and who’s well their online views work so well. The solution sometimes is to reload the App but I don’t see that as appropriate.
