You forced an update that pushed beyond the iOS capability of my phone. Seems like this is more important than sending payments. Fret not, my check is in the mail.

App out for over 1 week and website says I’m blocked for no apparent reason.  I bet they’d not think it was ok if we all stopped paying them the bill?!

This app is useless. It’s way too difficult to navigate, doesn’t show information. Can login one day and be fine the next day it doesn’t recognize my username or password. The help option is way too limited. After all of the one or two star reviews, you would think that Evergy would try to fix.

(Had to give one star to make a review - reality is the app deserves 0 stars!)

I downloaded this app and proceeded to attempt to use it. These were the problems:
   1. Tried to get current bill —> system made me login again
   2. Tried to get current bill (after logging in again) —> got to look at bill, but no way to download a copy
   3. Went to pay bill —> no option for keyboard, so had to handwrite each digit
   4. Wrote information over and over again —> system kept distorting my information
   5. Finally paid bill —> print function would not work
   6. Tried to get copy of current bill again —> system made me login again (lost track of how many times it made me login again - at least 5)

I finally had to go in via website to get “copy” of payment (screen shot only) and download bill.

What should have been a simpler, quicker way to pay my bill was NOT!

Lacking a home page.  A home page should be friendly and basic and say what plan you’re in and what your current bill and due date are.

 Instead, I always have to call because expecting to find the plan name by selecting an action line “change your plan”  is not logical, especially when you don’t want to change it at all!

when i first downloaded this app a few months ago (moved out on my own) it was fine. they did an update a couple weeks ago and it’s been terrible ever since. i can never log in. it will either say it needs an update when it doesn’t, or it’ll be set up as if i haven’t made a payment yet. it’s so frustrating when you’re already struggling to pay this high bill because of their dumb 4-8 policy, but now when i can’t even pay in ease it makes me not wanna pay at all. i get hit with late fees i have to pay because THEIR site is down. and i don’t think that’s right. they’re quick to send you a late letter but impossible to get on the phone with. they only want to speak to you when you owe them money

Could not be any worse if they tried. I really wanna leave 0 stars. The app never works. I mean it never works. I always have to use the website. App is always update. It just isn’t well designed or optimized. You would think for a service we all have to pay for. They would see the app reliability as a consistent need for the consumer. But nope guess not.

For a company that has almost a monopoly on electricity in my area they do not prioritize their app working properly, there is nothing useful about the app and it prioritizes you getting on a payment plan vs seeing your usage and comparing your bill to similar homes.
