As far as tracking electric usage and solar generated, it is pretty bare-bones. They provide the most basic functionality, and that’s about it. I wish it was possible to merge with a third party monitoring app or they would improve tracking metrics or dashboard. A little improvement would go a really long way. ### 2/5 — Project tracker better, power tracker unhelpful *2026-03-09, version 2.0.13* As a place to review project docs & progress, it’s good. But for knowing how solar production compares to home power use it’s nearly worthless. Solar production is only given by months or years. Household use is only reported by week or day (or on iPad only, by the hour). On website at least daily production will go negative to indicate selling power back. On the iPad it just flatlines at zero while the sun is out. Power use and production should be on the SAME graph simultaneously, and covering the same time frames. Since having our system installed, we have been unable to monitor our solar production. Definitely not a very useful app for the amount of money we spent with Everlight. I would not work with them or recommend any one work with them in the future. Customer service is also lacking. While energy production is shown by monthly and yearly, no way to compare usage vs production. I contacted them and their explanation was that production was to correspond with my energy bill, if that’s the real reason why isn’t energy usage have a corresponding monthly and yearly view. App does nothing else besides display data that don’t relate to each other. ### 1/5 — Report is primary *2024-11-25, version 1.8.13* It’s pathetic - monthly and yearly production consumption and usage is mandatory to analyze the solar purchase was beneficial or not. I see above somebody reported it several years before but nobody addressed it and I have been saying this from day 1. Please update the software and publish in the store. There after delete this review. ### 1/5 — A Horrific app! *2024-10-10* The usage portion of this app is absolutely worthless. The usage is hidden in every panel and is impossible to read. No bars exist. I have no idea why they are separated into different toggles. And the fact that you can’t monitor energy use except by hourly, daily, weekly is unfathomable. How is it that generation and usage can’t be viewed together in the same time scale? It’s been how long with same feedback (a year+?) and this hasn’t been incorporated into the app? It seems the performance is being hidden. The project tracker made it easy to know what stage the project was currently sitting at and gave me peace of mind knowing it was moving forward. With the new production and usage graph I’m able to see what my solar system is producing and gives me a great visual of the system working properly. Happy to know Everlight is always improving their products for the end users.
