Please enable Face ID to streamline the process. ### 1/5 — Could be great… if it worked. *2024-12-02, version 3.7.10* We recently had EverLights installed. If the app worked, it could be awesome. We have been unable to download any sequences and it will not save anything. Because of this I can’t schedule anything in the calendar and I have to manually preview a light setting. I’ve reached out to support and they called me. They said they would get working on it but it’s been almost a week and no resolve. I paid a lot of money for something that isn’t working and I’m disappointed. ### 3/5 — App abandoned? *2024-11-27, version 3.7.10* The app isn’t very intuitive and hasn’t been updated in years and there is no option to just go with a pre-programmed schedule of holidays. A couple weeks ago, I set up the calendar for the next year and after a few weeks the calendar went blank and so I have to start all over again. ### 4/5 — Service *2024-11-26, version 3.7.10* Love the lights but have to have them out annually for repairs. Great customer service, always fixed fast. Wonder longevity….I have had them three years now. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy these lights until these people fix their app *2024-11-25, version 3.7.10* The app is barely functional. I cannot save a single custom sequence to my phone. The presets do not even load this thing is barely working. ### 2/5 — When the lights work they’re great *2024-11-08, version 3.7.10* I chose these lights because they are outward facing, and look more like traditional christmas lights. When the lights work, they look beautiful and can be seen from every direction unlike competitors. I’ve had these for two years and had repeated problems with the app and the physical lights themselves. Here are the problems: 1. I regularly have to Power cycle the whole system (unplug the lights from the wall, switch off any soffit switches, unplug and completely disconnect the bridge. This is because the lights will glitch and behave completely erratic. 2. I’ve had multiple sections of lights go out. I’ve had technicians here at least 3 times. That’s fine during the first year because the service is under warranty, but after that first year, it’s $75 for every visit. During my many phone calls, texts and service visits with the company I’ve been told that the original design for the wire connections was flawed and those connections tend to fail. They now have a new connection that is supposed to be better, I want all of my connections replaced at once, not as they go out, and have to pay $75 for the tech to come back out. (I currently have 2 sections out because of this problem waiting 6 weeks for tech to come out). 3. The app is ok, I like that you can build your own custom sequences, but it will often have a hard time connecting to the bridge (currently I can’t connect to the bridge unless I am home.) 4. It’s ridiculous that you can’t set calendar events to recur every year. You have to re-program the calendar events every year. That seems like it should be a simple fix. I wish I could recommend Everlights to other people, however based on the issues above, I simply can’t! ### 3/5 — Not impressed *2024-11-05, version 3.7.10* App needs an update. Schedules are only once, so I need to setup all my holidays each year. I continue to get dead or bad lights. Currently have 23 that are missing at least one led color. Tried keeping up on it myself, but ended up calling support last year to fix them all. Some imperfections on the installations on the driveway frame. Some zones work sometimes and other times they don’t. A much-needed update is essential to address its primitive design and limited capabilities. Users are craving more than just basic sequences; the app should incorporate the ability to create and customize shows, moving beyond the constraints of its current options. Additionally, the random mode should truly offer randomness rather than being limited to the chase mode. Importantly, the app lacks the feature to import sequences and shows from other platforms, hindering users who want to leverage a wider range of content. An update that allows seamless integration with external sources would significantly enhance the app's appeal and utility. In essence, a comprehensive refresh is imperative to bring Everlights up to par with the evolving expectations of its user base. ### 2/5 — Please update app! *2023-08-18, version 3.7.3* This app needs updating so badly. There is no troubleshooting at all built in. The app should have an easy way to reset the lights when they are having zone or other problems. Love the lights when they work, app was probably great in 2018 but needs so much work. ### 1/5 — My lights never work *2023-07-14, version 3.7.3* I had EverLights installed on my house and just submitted the 6th service ticket cause my lights are not working again. $5000 for lights that only half of them work. ### 3/5 — Lights working ok, app could use help *2023-06-30, version 3.7.3* We really like the lights but have needed to have service out a couple times already for dying zones. Service has been good but I do wonder long term how they’ll hold up. The app is a hit clumsy and has some frustrating, simple errors, for example the login screen isn’t configured as a password prompt so it doesn’t pull up saved passwords, you can’t paste into it from keychain/PW manager, and since it’s not treating the PW box as a password it changes emerge first character to capital so the password always fails. Little things like this make it frustrating and have been there for a year now so it’s not just some little bug that’ll be fixed right away. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work & bad customer service *2023-06-08, version 3.7.3* These were professionally installed and worked for maybe 2 months, then it messed up constantly. The customer service is also horrible. It takes them 2 weeks to get back to you. Currently trying to go through the warranty process to return them now and my gutters are damanged from all the holes we had to poke through for install. The app is also not user friendly and doesn’t communicate correctly if two people in the house have the app. ### 4/5 — review update *2022-07-30, version 3.7.2* The app was somewhat glitchy before and kinda worked fine until this most recent update that erased everything - where did all the sequences go? *update* I just needed to re-pair my bridge which was quite simple. Now they’re back to working mostly ok. I have noticed that the whites are kind of yellowish at one end of the house. In general though, great product and always gets a wow from any visitors. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2022-07-01, version 3.7.2* **Update** They replied saying it sounds like I have an older version with an invitation to upgrade! I haven’t even had them 7 months and have the most up to date version. Updating my review to one star instead of two for the ridiculous response to my concerns in this review and because they deleted my comments expressing concerns on their Instagram page instead of addressing me directly. We occasional have sections of lights that aren’t on the same sequence as the rest of the house but my BIGGEST complaint is the terrible outdated app. I wish I had gone with a company with a more user friendly app. It’s very difficult to create your own sequence and they don’t add new pre-designed sequence options to the app. There are only a limited number of sequences to choose from. How hard could it possibly be to hire a professional to create a decent app? For such an expensive product I don’t think this is asking for much! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Garbage App with No Support *2026-07-15, version 3.7.10* The app is absolutely terrible and never gets updated. When something goes wrong their support team is impossible to reach. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on three homes with this company and they don’t even respond to emails or call when you need help with something. All I get is promises I’m in the “service queue” sine December… Ridiculous!!! Going to use any means available for a refund! Like many have said the app kinda sucks… ### 1/5 — Horrible app! *2025-03-16, version 3.7.10* First, if you're used to having secure random passwords 16 to 22 characters long, you have to manually type it in every time ... you can't paste it from a password manager. The app won't let you paste and the password no matter what. The scheduling is a joke. If you want a certain sequence to come on at the same time every night for two hours, you have to touch every day of the year ...or decade... and i it. You can't say "turn on the sequence every Monday Wednesday and Friday from 8 to 10 PM. And… You have no way of knowing which sequence is actually running. There's a button to turn it off but you have no idea which one is showing. ### 1/5 — It’s kinda works? *2025-03-01, version 3.7.10* I’d say most functions work. It won’t save sequences today or events, so that’s cool. Lights just turn off whenever. We love that we won’t need a ladder to put up lights ever again! There are endless options for colors and displays. We love that they can be customized as we desire!! They came pre-programmed for many holidays so we also love that convenience!! So easy to get a quote and see how this is done and installation was accomplished quickly and efficiently. We were taught how they work and it seems so user friendly. Love our decision to go with EVERLIGHTS!!
