## What is EverMax?

EverMax sets precise heart-rate zones so you distribute training load for maximum aerobic gains without burning out.

Most apps like Strava, Garmin, Apple Fitness and Woop calculate zones using an age-based max-HR estimate (220−age or 208−(0.7×age)). That’s convenient, but research shows big person-to-person error. In short: your birth year isn’t your physiology.

Most apps use outdated, inaccurate classification based on performance prediction, not actual VO2Max measurements. For example, Garmin will tell you that you’re in the 60th percentile when, according to the more accurate FRIEND framework, you’re below the 50th percentile.
