Lots of track from Apple Music cannot be played on Eversolo Play. It just loads the file and not playing the track. Please fix the issue ASAP. Thanks ### 4/5 — One of the better designed UIs *2026-04-13, version 1.2.76* Downloaded for use with the T8 transport that replaced a BluSound Node X. The BS app is very good, as well, and I was concerned transitioning would have a steep learning curve. It didn’t. Sometimes stuck or freezes completely syncing with The Dmp a6 me is slow. Means stremer playing one song and showing album art of another song. the biggest problem is with Android tablets. I have both S 10 and S 8 ultra, but i cannot use either Spotify connect or Qubuz connect or Amazon from the tablets. when try to cast the Dmp a6 me ,does not show up at all. but i can play anything from Android tablets with this eversolo app. it works fine with IOS devices. ### 2/5 — Update trashed playlists *2025-08-10, version 1.2.37* Updates that break things. Too often this happens with EverSolo. This latest trashed my playlists and new ones offer no ability to sort. What use is an unsorted playlist? Sad. ### 4/5 — Great control app - could be even better *2025-07-27, version 1.2.35* This is a great music control app for Eversolo streamers. These streamers are so feature rich, it is hard to criticise them. The app is one of the best out there and has gotten better over the years. It does, however, have room for improvement. In some areas it provides too much choice. For instance, it doesn’t need to list all audio inputs. Allow some that are not used to be hidden. Also give us 5 fast action presets that launch our favourite song, playlist, radio station or album. Call them actions and allow them to replace the main screen view so that even my partner can use it. BluOS is awful, but this is their best feature. ### 4/5 — Needs an alarm or scheduled playback feature, preferably one that will launch a playlist. *2025-07-24* Alarm feature please! ### 2/5 — UGH! It’s Crashing on My iPad AGAIN!!! *2025-06-15, version 1.2.26* I totally love my Eversolo A6 ME. One of the things I love(d) the most about it was the ability to control it from my old iPad. Past releases broke it on older iPads then more recent releases fixed that. The latest release seems to have broken it AGAIN! Very frustrating! ### 1/5 — App won’t open or work after new update *2025-06-04, version 1.2.15* Since couple of days the app will simply not open on my iPhone. I had to delete and reinstall yesterday to get it to work, but this evening it’s back to not working at all. Removed and reinstalled A8 on app. Check Tidal without Eversolo app and playlists are accessible there. The Albums are not listed in chronological order and we literally have to GUESS which titles are High Res because there is no description in the interface. When you romove and add the device. You always receive “Request error please tryagain later (-6)” message. I have written to the support and forums no result. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2026-08-13, version 1.2.85* If this app actually connects to my device (DMP-A6) 10% of the time I try to connect, it would be an over statement. This app is pretty much useless as useless can be. I would give it zero stars if it was an option. Therefore it gets a VERY generous one star. ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2026-03-28, version 1.2.76* I have tried everything to try to connect my phone to the DMP6. Why can’t you fix this? App EverSolo not good *2026-03-13, version 1.2.70* Ever since I changed phone late September to upgrade to IPhone 17 Pro I have no more access to the streaming app Qobuz but only to what seems to be a mirror of my DMP A6 Master Edition « extended screen on device » . I have no pleasure streaming through the EverSolo app. As I write my review I don’t see any thing on my device’s screen except a selection a Bluetooth devices ! When I press Qobuz on the DMP 6 I see the Qobuz app but not when I try to use my phone to do the work as it should be! I am on wifi connection ### 1/5 — Not Very Happy *2025-07-20, version 1.2.32* I’m experiencing persistent instability with the Eversolo Play when using the mobile app. The unit randomly restarts whenever I attempt to control it via the phone app—completely unacceptable for a product in this price range. The Apple Music integration is also half-baked: there’s no support for Crossfade when streaming directly through the Apple Music app on the Eversolo, even though the same feature works flawlessly when using AirPlay from my iPhone. The app itself feels sluggish, unresponsive, and not up to par with modern standards—especially frustrating coming from the Apple ecosystem, where I’m used to a seamless and stable user experience. This kind of performance is disappointing for a device marketed as a premium audiophile solution. I’m honestly losing patience. Please tell me if there’s a firmware update, a workaround, or if this is just how it is—because if it is, I may have to rethink this setup entirely. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t display full screen album Art on iPad *2025-06-08, version 1.2.26* The user experience is mediocre at best, the iPad version of the app doesn’t not display album cover full screen. The options on the light/dark theme is great, but y’all forgot to make the app icon light/dark mode as well since it still is white when phone system is in dark mode. Maybe I’m just the lucky one but my app has been performing flawlessly this entire year that I’ve owned my Eversolo. The only thing I hate, and this is by their design, is the jerky scrolling of my album collection. Scrolling in the actual Tidal app is fluid and smooth where as in Eversolo it hesitates page by page to refresh. That’s a pain. Otherwise it’s great! ### 5/5 — Zero Issues *2024-11-22, version 1.1.46* I’ve been using this app to stream Tidal and play local files from a USB on my DMP-A6 for 6+ months and have never encountered a problem. I can screen cast my DMP-A6 display to my iPhone or it can just be used as a smart App remote. EverSolo have been keen to take onboard user feedback and have regularly updated this App. I have one minor complaint that various versions of music stored on my DMP streamer (MP3 and FLAC) could more clearly be displayed which is which when the album art is the same. Streaming Radio Paradise from the App works flawlessly. Better still, the EverSolo App allows me to scan differing RP Channel content while listening to my custom RP Favourites channel.
