## What is Everstead?

Everstead is one calm, secure place for everything that matters, so the people you love are never left searching.

Life is scattered across dozens of accounts, documents, logins and good intentions. Everstead gently brings it together: what you own, where it's kept, who to contact, and how you'd like things done. Organised for life, and ready for your family, if the time ever comes.

WHAT YOU CAN KEEP IN EVERSTEAD
• Accounts & assets — banks, pensions, investments and insurance, with the details your family would actually need
• Document vault — wills, policies, deeds and important paperwork, safely stored
• Trusted people — invite the people who matter, and choose exactly what they can see, and when
• Instructions & wishes — step-by-step guidance and personal wishes, in your own words
• Personal messages — sealed letters, videos and photos for the people you love, released when the time is right
• About Me — your story, your passions, the things worth remembering

BUILT AROUND PEACE OF MIND
• Your information stays private, behind your account and an optional passcode or Face ID on this device
• You decide who sees what — nothing is shared until you choose to share it
• A simple readiness score shows what's done and what's next, without the overwhelm

Because the most loving thing you can leave behind is a life that's easy to find.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.2 — 2026-09-23

The app now opens in French on phones set to French, from the very first screen. The App Store page lists French, and the permission requests for Face ID, camera, photos and microphone appear in French too.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-20

This update fixes the upgrade screen, which failed to open in version 1.4. Everstead+ can be started from inside the app again.

Also in this version:
• Personal messages can now be edited or deleted after they are written, including the date they are released.
• Add another email address to your account, such as a work address, so anything sent to it reaches your vault.
• Export a complete copy of your vault from Settings, sent to you by email.
• New passwords now follow the same rule everywhere, so one that would be refused is explained before you submit it.

Thank you for the reports. If anything else is not right, write to support@everstead.care.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-11

A fresh look for Everstead: the illustrated family from our website now welcomes you in, a short film tells the story in thirty seconds, and the Family screen carries your family name. Nothing else changed, and everything you have stored stays exactly where it was.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-27

Free plans now include up to 5 accounts, 5 documents and 3 trusted people. Everstead is now fully available in French. Invite friends and family from Settings, plus a fix for readiness scores that were showing as zero.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-14

Sign in with Apple and Google are here — plus small improvements under the hood.
