But the extremely limited components kind of ruins it for me as a useful tool. Get on it folks. Icircuit is the only alternative. ### 3/5 — Not fair at all *2026-04-17* I’m very interested in circuitry and I want to do it in my adulthood, but this game is not fair because you could only do five circuit pieces per a circuit, which is not a big circuit at all that is a very, very, very, very, very small circuit so whoever the creator is please make no restriction and I will re-download this game if you fix the restriction and delete the restriction. Add more integrated circuits and maybe even complex integrated circuits like actual board like motherboard or Arduino or raspberry pi ### 2/5 — Is this a joke? *2026-02-12, version 2.30.1* Like seriously I just tried to run a super simple low component two diode full wave rectifier and what a surprise! You can’t even run that without getting this annoying premium wall! Like what’s the point of making this app if you can’t even make a simple circuit without paying money? Having them on forever kind of kills creativity. Regards ### 2/5 — Serious issues *2025-05-23* I purchased the full license. First, there is no manual or help provided with the app - many hours of trial and error and inconsistency. Even though the GUI is clever, it is missing some basic drawing features such as the ability to select and move sections of a circuit. I tried to connect two simple tone control circuits and found that the second circuit was unresponsive and ignored. Looking at the bug fix history, it seems that the app is no longer supported by the developer. I gave it 2 starts because it had much promise. ### 2/5 — Almost good *2025-05-10* This has a lot of potential, but it’s free version is so incredibly limiting I can’t even figure out if it actually will be useful or not. It constantly nags about buying the full version because my circuit is too big, but I had only half a dozen items in the circuit. Maybe if I could actually make something useful and test the app maybe I would buy it. However the free version is just so limiting I can’t tell if it will actually be worth the price. ### 2/5 — Didn’t scroll to 3rd screen…. *2025-04-01* I opened the app, scrolled one page in and BAM! A two way light switch circuit tha IS NOT! It’s called a 3-way switch circuit, no matter what this app calls it! Deleted ### 3/5 — Beautiful user interface *2024-12-17, version 2.30.1* But buggy and has some technical issues keeping it from being of a professional standard. ### 4/5 — **PLEASE ADD THREE SIGNIFICANT FIGURES TO COMPONENT VALUES** *2024-11-22, version 2.30.1* All of the components (e.g., capacitors) their values have to be rounded to the nearest value, and one significant figure isn’t enough. I was going to use the software vanilla for the graphics to model circuits, and I got to the real world scenario where I needed 15.75 μF, however the dial only supports one significant figure. I had to edit the image after I want to be able to get 15.75μF on my capacitor, not 15.7. I also would like you to add an option where I can directly plug in my numbers (in nested radical / surd form aswell), instead of having to manually spin through a dial to get my numbers. It’s quite satisfying to use, and I know this might take some difficult time for the developers, but my two proposals would make it more convenient and professional. Edit: please also add the option to put in reference designators and silk screening. ### 3/5 — please free *2024-11-07, version 2.30.1* please make free i dont care if u put ads just make it all free ty and make the ads only when u leave the circuit maker ### 2/5 — Took me half an hour to fix my login *2024-06-10, version 2.30.1* $27 and the app randomly logged out. I’m freaking out thinking what has happened. I’ve got no idea if I ever had a login. I emailed them twice hoping for a response. By sheer luck I tried one of my old passwords and remarkably the login worked. But I have no email registered to the account profile and the app has no capability of adding it. Thought I’d lost it and my user name. Looking over the update history, it looks like development has fallen on the back burner… where’s the improvement guys. ### 3/5 — Great app but having billing issue *2024-05-29* I like the app especially the simulation part, went as far as purchasing the full version to continue using it but after awhile it went away and went back to trial mode, it recognizes I purchased it but fails to update when I go to restore it. ### 3/5 — It’s ok but extremely limited *2024-04-21, version 2.30.1* Lots of errors on more complex circuitry, and in fact even some basic circuitry where intermediate level concepts are explored. It’s ok for gaining a very basic understanding of circuitry and electronics, but when you would like to do anything even slightly complex it seems to always have solution not found errors or just provide erroneous results. Fun for absolute beginners who don’t want to shell out the extra cash for a really good simulator like icircuit, but far too limited for anything more. It’s ok. ### 2/5 — App License Does Not Work *2024-04-20* I tried purchasing the unlimited version, but luckily I was told that I have already purchased this before and can just unlock the full version. Great! So I did that, and when trying to run a circuit comprised of 2 voltage sources, a transistor, 2 resistors, and an LED I was informed this was a “large circuit” and that I would have to purchase the unlimited version…which I already had transferred my previous license. It seems the app currently does not recognize that you have an active subscription and will limit you to the pre-made circuits. Please allow zoom into the waveforms ### 5/5 — excellent *2024-06-14* Very good, looking forward to adding Chinese soon ### 5/5 — Great app - quirky but has some very cool uses *2023-10-03* I took a chance for the $13 because I have not seen anything for iOS that can do basic SPICE simulations, and I can't stay tied to the desk to run MicroCap 12 (now free and still awesome). This app won't let you perform complex circuit simulations of complicated circuits (abut that's what MicroCap is for). The op-amps have no voltage rail pins for example. There is no q-point, or distortion metering. If you need a full fledged simulator, get MicroCap for free and use your laptop. But - this app is amazing if you are trying to understand networks involving reactive components. Especially when it involves multiple loops or nodes. You can also use the op-amps in normal configurations - amps, integrators, etc... The in-place AC and DC meters are pretty cool. I found a use for it immediately for a work project that involved stacks of capacitors, fed with different sizes of a common AC input signal (pulse generator). The app worked perfectly and allowed me to see something MicroCap can't - the effect of charge pushing on the bottom plate of a cap modulating the signal fed to the top, in real (sim) time, yet the overall total signal maintains the shape of a single cap charge/discharge. Brilliant - so easy when you can see it right there. I wish it had some very basic features - copy/paste, multiple component selection, and a real-time frequency response (spectrum analyzer) would be nice. It also has some quirks with starting/stopping sims. I actually like the spinner control for setting component values. ### 5/5 — Best electronics app I used. *2023-04-04, version 2.29* I used to have a giant box of electronics but because of every circuit that box is now an app on my iPad. It is very much portable. ### 5/5 — Arduino Learners *2023-03-26* If you are learning arduino and wants to go deeper, this is the app!! (Not only Arduino, but any electric circuits ) It does some calculations for you to not burn your LEDs (or other devices) and much more stuff! It requires a bit of knowledge but as a Arduino learner, this is a very helpful tool. If you want to learn circuits and electronic, this is for you. (I cannot say for advanced users, but it's a big YES for learners like me). The examples posted by the community help a lot. Great job guys!!
