It is not linked to Bluetooth, and therefore AirPod users are not able to listen through headphones, making it impossible to isolate layers and loop properly. I’ve had this app for 10+ years and love it. I’m sure it’s a good app once you figure it out but to expect people to adopt this off the cuff is absurd. ### 5/5 — Absolute masterpiece *2018-10-27, version 1.6.1* I truly wish you could make different loop times like loopy, because this is the most accurate looper I’ve used, and halving or doubling the loop times is something I frequently use and need. Apartment from that, this is such a well thought out app. ### 3/5 — Looks good, but needs work *2018-09-05, version 1.6.1* I judge any computer program by how well I can use it without reading any manual or help file. For the life of me, just on the first use of this program, I cannot figure out how to exit the recording area back into the main screen. I cannot even access the help file easily. The area where the recording tracks are really should have a section with controls such as play, start, return to main screen and those sort of controls, instead of just the tracks that you are working with. Trying to memorize all the various swipes and using 1, 2 and 3 fingers just is not intuitive. I really believe that with just a little tweaking of the interface this could be an outstanding program and hopefully the interface will improved in the future. The worst program in the world is easy to understand when you have used it enough, however outstanding programs allows the user to utilize the basic program with no help whatsoever. ### 4/5 — Der fantastischste Looper überhaupt! *2018-02-08* Hier ist der beste iPhone looper überhaupt. Alle anderen imitieren irgendwie hardwarelooper. Hier hat der Entwickler sich Gedanken gemacht die Besonderheiten des iPhones perfekt zu nutzen. Ein wunderbares Interface kombiniert mit sehr schöner Optik beim recorden, und eine intuitiv bedienbare Oberfläche. Ich wünsche mir nur noch ableton link - ein muss für musik Apps heute - und Audiobus Integration. Wenn dann noch mehr Funktionen für die Ansteuerung per Midi fusstaster möglich wären (Mute Track, Track down, Track Up,) dann wäre das DER TRAUM! If this does that, it’s not clear how. For example, how do you clip the space at the beginning or end so it can loop without gaps? How do you set a basic beat without taking up the base track, which sets the length of your recording? Also, the commands are quirky, sometimes working sometimes not. First, someone makes any kind of a rhythm with their mouth, or a melody if they like. Then hands the app to the next person and they lay down the next track whatever they want… and it is almost always hilarious. Even just as it is, this app is always a facilitator. What about being able to finish a phrase and locking the tracks and then pinching to make space for another phrase.
