If you do not use the card/account you legally created like a debit/checking account, after 3 months they charge you 5.95 dollars. This company is about squeezing you out of as many fees as possible for unsuspecting individuals at safe way and Albertsons who want to do a nice thing and buy a gift card. ### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY THE CARD *2023-10-20, version 6.6* They want too much info like ssn and other stuff and it doesn’t even work! 30 DOLLERS DOWN THE DRAIN!!!!! ### 1/5 — Do NOT buy a card *2022-11-28, version 6.3.2* There are much better options out there compared to this. Hard to activate. *2022-03-25, version 6.2* I received an inactivity fee of $5.95 before I could even get the card activated because the process was a major pain, REQUIRED that I share all of my private information in non-secure ways (I shouldn’t have to email private documents or share my ssn over the phone— do better.), and be hand verified by a human being that clearly was not in the same country as me. ### 1/5 — Dont buy this card *2021-12-27, version 6.1.4* Do not buy this card, I put it for my son and after we fixed the problem they told me that i could now only spend it online, and everytime I buy something it charges $1 and 50 cents. They also told me that I could pull out money out if the card anymore. It also didnt let me buy something on a app I wanted to use it on. I’ve even called their customer service more than a few times during business hours and they still never picked up. Money transfers. It doesn’t work. And now when I go online to try and cancel and get my $500 back the website keeps crashing and won’t reload unless I close my web browser and then reopen. Then re log in and then crash after about a min or so later. Waste of money ### 1/5 — Don’t buy *2026-06-07, version 6.8.2* I’m trying to return this card because I wanna get a refund/return because I don’t want to have to keep paying for a card that I won’t use that much and I got this as a gift so I don’t really want to keep it because I want to return it because I don’t even know how to use a card like this and for me to return it I have to call a number, but the number is not giving me any option to return the car from my money back and when I downloaded the app, I put my information and they said that they were gonna send me a card, but I don’t want another card. I only had the card for two years which is 24 months, so if you do the math, only about 48 dollars should be removed and i had 200 dollars. so i should have 152 dollars. but i have 57. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy *2025-04-03, version 6.8.2* Do not buy these cards. I spent months trying to get it set up and it never worked. The app asked for my personal info and once I filled it out it immediately kicked me out of my account and wouldn’t let me back in so I called the company’s line and they said they could delete my information and send me the money through the mail. They said it would take up to 10 days and it has now been a month and a half since then and I haven’t received any money. ### 1/5 — Keeps having errors *2024-09-17, version 6.8.1* Every time I put the card numbers there’s always something wrong. Pick any other card there is *2024-08-24, version 6.8* It took 3 days to try to verify and they couldn’t do it on a prepaid Visa card and when I asked for a refund they told me they had to send a check in the mail hands down the worst company out there ### 1/5 — Terrible experience *2024-05-29, version 6.7.1* I received their debit visa card as a gift and tried to activate it, but the process itself was uncomfortable. I had to call them to activate the card, but I had to reluctantly tell them all of my personal information, even my ssn over the phone. I told them “no” several times but they kept saying that they would not be able to activate the card without it. In the end the card was activated and I checked my balance on the mobile app. To my surprise, the balance was nearly half of what I was expecting. The person who gifted me the card said that it has a balance of $200 but now there was only $110. Turns out they charge a $5.95 fee for being “inactive” which I found ridiculous. Did not know they started charging this fee after 3 months of inactivity, so because I activated this card nearly a year and a half later, I lost almost $90 and my important personal info. ### 1/5 — Zero Star Rating *2024-03-07, version 6.6* Customer service is non existent. Activating the card is so difficult that an attractive option is just to throw the unused card away, and let this shady company force float your money. I have no idea how to activate my card. It says that there is a problem and call, but then it spins you back through the same loop into perpetuity. ## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated) ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2024-08-07, version 6.8* They approved my ID document almost immediately and I was able to use the account very quickly. Not sure why reviews are so low. However they do have a high amount of transaction fees. ### 2/5 — Not EZ from the start to activate *2024-03-01, version 6.6* I’m still trying to be patient to get this card activated?! ### 2/5 — Reaching customer service *2021-04-23, version 6.1.2* It really takes so long to get through the automated system to actually get a human on the telephone to help with an issue and then when you do reach someone you could get disconnected before the issue is resolved.
