The game is faithful to the original console version – down to how quickly the hyperventilating explorer burns through his air supply. But you'll be holding your breath plenty as you try to maneuver past bats, spiders, snakes and other horrors lurking within the four colossal levels!

A nasty ghost has caught your scent!! These relentless pests have been waiting around nearly three decades for a new slew of unsuspecting explorers… and they're primed to exact their revenge. But don't overlook a steam geyser, pit or ledge or you'll be quickly reminded of why the Spelunkers who live to see daylight are a select breed. 

A LITTLE LOVE FROM THE DEVELOPERS 
In case you haven't noticed a recurring theme – there are tons of ways to die in Spelunker! So, to show how much we feel your pain, we've added a rope-assist feature that can be activated in the UI. This handy little feature will make jumping from rope to ledge a much safer prospect than ever before.

3DSのバーチャルコンソールから始めた人ですが、画質が良くて操作しやすいです！
安定の難しさだけど1.5年くらいすれば安定して1000000点くらい取れます！
少し十字キーの右が反応しづらい気がするけど無料なのでこれくらいはあってもいい気がします。

このレビューの書き込みは2021年12月9日に書いてます。
このスペランカー広告版はスタミナが初めに5つあり、1ステージのスタミナ消費1、2ステージスタミナ消費2、とステージが上がるに連れてスタミナ消費が高くなります（4ステージしかないけど）。スタミナ回復は1時間に1つ、探検をしてスペランカーの残機がなくなって広告コンテニューが5回出来ます。こちらは1時間に全て回復します。なので、お金のかかるスペランカーよりこちらの方が楽しくゲームをすることが出来ると思います。私の不満点はこのゲームはボタン配置を変えることが出来ません。なので、10字ボタンを押せない、ジャンブボタンが押せない、など、そのような理由で死んでしまいます。ボタン配置さえ変えれたら星5やっていましたね。私からは以上です。
