### 2/5 — Zero customer support

*2026-08-22, version 2026.8.211*

I’ve experienced many of the issues in this review - duplicate transactions, banks disconnecting, transactions not being cleared when deleted or categorized. I was willing to keep trying but I have created multiple support tickets and literally no one gets back to you. I like the UI but I am in the process of transitioning to another app.

Edit: after nearly 2 weeks, still no support despite multiple tickets. Completely unacceptable that the app barely works and customer support is nowhere to be found. Furthermore the app doesn’t support analysis past 2 years, so insights is useless in the long term. I am in the process of transferring the data to Monarch and will drop everydollar as soon as it’s done. What a waste of my time and money.

### 3/5 — Works well until it doesn’t!

*2026-08-21, version 2026.8.190*

Im glad I downloaded the free version, its great, but it crashed after four weeks and I can’t login anymore. It has been three days so far, I found another expense tracker. Again, its great if it works! Again, it’s the best app, if it’s working! Maybe stick to the free version until you can trust it enough! Nevertheless, I’ve deleted and downloaded the app multiple times. I you must be online to login expenses.

### 4/5 — Great App, Too Many Rules

*2026-08-15, version 2026.8.140*

I have used this app for almost 7 years and it has been a powerful tool. It seems that in recent years, more and more rules have been implemented which make it harder to use. If I want to change the name of something this month, I don’t want it to change every month. I like this app a lot but am considering switching (which would be a huge effort) because I want to have more autonomy over my budget.

### 2/5 — The app badge is screwed uo 👎🏻

*2026-08-15, version 2026.8.140*

This app is mostly good. But the app badge is really screwed up. It shows that there are transactions to log when there are none or else the number is wrong. If there are any, after I log them, a couple minutes later the badge shows that there 3 new transactions, but there are always none. It does this consistently.

If it shows a number of transactions to log at other times (not the 3 it shows right after I’ve logged all transactions), the number of actual transactions is always one fewer than what the badge indicates.

The badge is almost always wrong now. Completely unreliable.

Irritating. I pay a LOT of money for this service, so please fix.

### 3/5 — Could be better

*2026-08-14, version 2026.8.140*

I REALLY wish the paycheck planning feature allowed you to select the dates AND the specific amounts that will be deducted on each of those days instead of assumed it’s equally divided. i.e. if I have $150 in monthly subscriptions and they come out on 4 different days, the app assumes $25 is coming out each day when that isn’t the case. So it’ll say you’re at risk of overspending when you’re not. It defeats the entire purpose of the feature if it’s not accurate. Now I have to do more mental math when that’s the apps job. Especially if I’m paying to use it.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-14, version 2026.8.120*

Outstanding user interface, ongoing support, wonderful app. Super helpful way to budget. They really ‘get it’

### 3/5 — Bad update

*2026-08-13, version 2026.8.120*

As a user for 6+ years, changing the location of the save button and putting the exit button where save was is truly WRONG. Expenses that I thought were saved were now erased, this could cause someone to believe there was more money available to be spent. Do better with your horrific updates.

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2026-08-11, version 2026.8.100*

Not sure why, but all the line items are in the red…? Super frustrating.

### 4/5 — The best budgeting app but Plaid needs to improve ALOT

*2026-08-07, version 2026.7.310*

I love this app. It has completely simplified my finances and taken so much tedious guesswork out of budgeting. HOWEVER, for the budget to be the most accurate you really need your accounts to be connected and automatically update through plaid. Plaid seems to be very delayed especially with Chase bank. Sometimes I have to wait more than 48 hrs for posted transactions to come through and that is very very frustrating and makes for lots of waiting to get the budget updated. This delay really needs to be fixed

### 5/5 — Been using it for years

*2026-08-02, version 2026.7.290*

My husband I have been using this app for all seven years of our marriage. It’s super straight forward and very customizable. We use the free version and haven’t had any problems with it. Just a little more work on our end. The only thing I wish they had was a notification system where one partner gets a notification on their phone whenever their partner enters a transaction and if it would give an updated remaining amount for the budget item. It’s easy enough to just check the app before you buy gas or groceries or whatever, but a notification system would be so nice.

### 2/5 — Same problem again!

*2026-08-01, version 2026.7.290*

I love this app, and i would love it more if it would open. Reboot and reloading didn’t work, checked settings and software is compatible 15.6 or newer. Help Please!! It’s the 1st of the month!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t misfile something

*2026-08-24, version 2026.8.211*

Don’t misfile any transactions. If you do, you can’t change it without deleting it.

### 1/5 — Latest Update is Buggy

*2026-08-22, version 2026.8.190*

Can’t open the app with prompting an update after I updated.

### 1/5 — Always something wrong

*2026-08-22, version 2026.8.190*

Now it’s unusable. Says to update but just goes back and forth between the App Store and the App. Honestly this app sucks. It takes forever for the purchases to populate. This is supposed to help us budget not cause a bunch of issues. Uninstalling and unsubscribing.

### 1/5 — Better on computer

*2026-08-21, version 2026.8.190*

The computer/online version is great. The mobile app sucks at syncing data across different devices. Many times i have had to re-reconcile various transactions because of a failure to sync correctly from the mobile app. Watch out for duplicate transactions!

### 1/5 — Frustrated and Disappointed

*2026-08-12, version 2026.8.120*

Entered all my information in 3 different times. Every time I come back to the app all my data is gone. Who has time for that?!?! I assume it’s because I’m using the free version. Not much incentive to actually pay for it! So frustrated and disappointed.

### 1/5 — Cost money

*2026-08-12, version 2026.8.100*

So I’m trying to pay off debt and learn to budget. Of course I listen to Dave Ramsey, he’s helped me tremendously and I thought I’d download his app as he talks about frequently. Well…it costs money. I’ve been unsubscribed to many subscriptions for a long time…to throw that money toward my two remaining loans. I’m not about to throw even a penny toward another subscription to help me budget to pay down debt quicker…that makes absolutely no sense. I’m disappointed to say the least. And no, I didn’t even attempt to use the app-I stopped right at the “yearly or monthly subscription fee”. I’m sure the app works, but my money toward my debt is more important than this app.

### 1/5 — App Doesn’t Work

*2026-07-31, version 2026.7.290*

Got this app for my husband and I and it was working well at first. UNTIL we were looking for a transaction to come up that just didnt show up. We now have to comb through all our transactions and manually add the ones that EveryDollar misses. Defeats the purpose of making a budget if random transactions don’t appear at all in the app. We contacted support and they said sorry it’s been a month since you’ve paid the subscription - nothing we can do. We deleted and re-added our bank accounts, tried everything we could think of. Also we realized the app gets the totals of the categories wrong sometimes. We did the math ourselves and it added up incorrectly. Again - what’s the point of this app if it’s incorrect?? Would not recommend.

### 1/5 — Complete Garbage

*2026-07-31, version 2026.7.290*

Spent 15 minutes entering my budget only for it to tell me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Very helpful Every Dollar app. Scam artists.

### 1/5 — Told MasterCard Connect was an option

*2026-07-30, version 2026.7.150*

In the response to my first review with complaints about Plaid, I was told there was an option to use MasterCard Connect. I waited to try it until the end of the month, but one day into switching, it told me it wasn’t working and to connect with Plaid because I’d have a better connection. I sincerely hope y’all figure this out. I’ve been a member for almost a decade now, and I’m honestly considering switching to a different app/service.

### 1/5 — Expensive

*2026-07-24, version 2026.7.150*

To actually attach your accounts it’s $18 a month! That’s more than my Quickbooks or my client scheduling app! I can’t justify that!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Bring back raw transaction data

*2026-08-23, version 2026.8.211*

I find knowing the date the transaction originated to be more important than the date it cleared. The raw data indicates the transaction date and the date shown by EveryDollar can be off by days. With the raw transaction data, I am able to correct this.

### 5/5 — Great overall app!

*2026-08-23, version 2026.8.211*

My wife and I use this, game changer. We follow the Ramsey way it has helped us stay on track and also see the future of our finances.

### 5/5 — Easy to use budget app

*2026-08-23, version 2026.8.211*

I am using EveryDollar app for two years now, and I’m very happy with the constant sofa upgrades to make it easier to budget.

### 5/5 — Best budgeting app I ever used!

*2026-08-23, version 2026.8.211*

My husband and I got serious about budgeting about 10+ years ago. When we finally decided to hop on board the Ramsey plan, having an app to help with budgeting was VERY helpful. As we have gone thru different seasons- ie, moving, starting a family -it has been critical in us tracking our numbers as well as helping us keep in line with the baby steps. Highly recommend !!

### 5/5 — Best budgeting app

*2026-08-22, version 2026.8.211*

EveryDollar has been absolutely wonderful- I’ve tried a number of different budgeting apps (including spreadsheets) and none of them were really what I needed. EveryDollar has helped my husband and I pay off debt, get on the same page, and start dreaming together. It’s been so so helpful!

### 5/5 — Long-time user

*2026-08-16, version 2026.8.140*

I want to be able to see the “summary” wheel for each month vs. only the month I am on. I like seeing the pie chart of wants vs needs vs investing vs debt and it bothers me that I can only see it on the current month. However, I do LOVE this app and use it all the time. Thank you Dave Ramsey group for creating it!

### 5/5 — Great app - don’t like the update

*2026-08-15, version 2026.8.140*

Love the app. Not enjoying the most recent upgrade as the buttons for entering a transaction have changed. It used to “save” on the upper right hand corner. Now the “save” is at the bottom and the cancel is in the upper right corner. Small issue but I have canceled so many transactions with this new change.
But overall, love the app!

### 5/5 — Extremely helpful

*2026-08-15, version 2026.8.140*

This app is very well thought out and has helped me with my budget tremendously by being financially conscious. Even though there’s some small little details that I think would be nice to edit, all in all, this app is phenomenal. I highly recommend it to anyone that is interested in becoming more financially responsible with your money. Huge shout out to my professor for recommending it to me.

### 5/5 — Great job keep improving

*2026-08-15, version 2026.8.140*

My bank sometimes takes several days to update transactions, so I turned off the automated bank sync. I still really enjoy using the Paycheck Planning feature, but I think the manual payment workflow could be improved.

It would be helpful if, while in Paycheck Planning, we could tap the next item in chronological order and manually enter a payment amount directly from that screen. Currently, on days when we make multiple payments, I have to back out to the main screen, enter the payment, then return to Paycheck Planning just to see which bill or expense comes next chronologically.

Being able to record payments directly within Paycheck Planning would make the feature much more convenient for people who prefer to manage transactions manually rather than rely on bank syncing.

### 5/5 — App is really helpful

*2026-08-15, version 2026.8.140*

We appreciate using this app to help with budgeting. It’s been helping us for a very long time
