Self-pity and anxiety can take over, especially after coffee I can grow uncomfortable in my own skin. I have the disease of alcoholism, which is not my fault. However, at 59 years old, I need to keep being grateful for my life and reasonably good health. I can’t see the future which kept me drinking and getting high, which for a long time helped me enjoy being in the moment. But without any real plan or design for living. It’s been almost a year since my mother passed away and through God‘s grace I’ve been able to stay in our family home and obtain employment that I’ve been able. What frustrates me the most is I have contacted the developer 3 times using the provided email, for several months now and still no fix. I have been in denial about my addiction to alcohol my whole life. Until I earned myself a DUI a few days ago. My alcoholism has hurt my family, compromised my marriage, and caused me to live and act with bad judgement- which could have hurt or killed someone. This app and this program give me the hope that I can turn my life around and be the person that I used to strive to be. If not for this awakening and this support, I may well have run my full life into ruin or worse. Yet, this is the best one I have come across! It has everything and even more!! I love my Big Book and I have broke it in for sure however, other great things about this app is; if I don’t have my big book on me or maybe if someone forgot to put out or the readings can’t be found at a meeting or for instance i need the sick man’s or the third step pray all of these are in one place and at my finger tips; I don’t have to google anything and have to search all these websites to get what I need.
