It’s a terrific tool that cuts the fat off the rugs and allows you to search the important things quickly. I don’t like that they make you purchase each edition and feel for the price it should just be updated and if he must charge it should be a in app purchase to buy the update for no more than 10$. But worth the initial price 100% ### 5/5 — Fantastic Resource *2021-08-23, version 3.4* A fantastic resource for even the most seasoned professional. A must read for any pilot or aviation enthusiast of any level. Information is easily found and presented in a straight-forward easy to understand manner. When I got my first tablet, I immediately purchase the digital edition back in 2014. I was able to access until a while ago. I didn’t turn the notifications in the app, and I missed the latest update. I couldn’t access my old digital edition anymore. I contact the app support/seller. Shane not only explained exactly what happened, he was able to help me regain access to the digital edition with a little perk. Big KUDDOS to Shane and the team at EEPP. Also gotta point out how the book is super helpful and fun to read!!! ### 5/5 — Just get it. *2021-02-20, version 3.4* This has to rank as the finest BFR prep tool available anywhere. Sure, there are other references out there, but let’s just say that if you don’t know everything in EEPP, don’t even try applying for an airline job — you’ll be chewed up and spit out during the interview. If you’re serious about knowledge and proficiency — and the time has come for you to graduate from being a 3,000 hour Skyhawk “Captain” — then you won’t hesitate getting this. **Developer response:** Thank you! For any FAA pilot or any pilot planning to operate in the US this should your first port of call. ### 5/5 — Long Time Reader since 10th Edition *2020-09-08, version 3.4* I have utilized this book both paper and now electronic version as a resource and quick go to guide. The entire book has applications for GA, Military and ATP flying. Each stage of my career from my PPL checkride, military flying and now ATP have used this as a source to prepare or brush up on general knowledge. My electronic copy was lost in the Apple ITunes transfer but the publishers made it right! I refer all aviators to this source as an excellent find for beginners or seasoned pilots. ### 5/5 — Great book and customer service! *2020-06-09, version 3.4* Application is very informative and practical with great pictures for image learners. Illustrations are both helpful and entertaining. Recently, I lost my digital copy with an iPad change and tech support helped me out quickly. It is the best aggregate regulatory reference out there. I’m so happy to now have an electronic version to take with me on the road. ### 5/5 — Awesome APP - INCREDIBLE SERVICE *2020-04-22, version 3.4* First of all this is an awesome APP. It contains incredible amount of information. When my APP disappeared and only provided me with the “Sample” APP, I contacted them by email. They talked me through restoring the full edition after I sent them a receipt from my iPhone showing evidence and verifying that I had previously purchased it. They are incredibly responsive and their service is very much appreciated. ### 5/5 — EEPP Review *2020-01-20, version 3.4* This is a wonderful comprehensive textbook, good for the student pilot up to a NASA test pilot. Valuable knowledge laid out in an easy to understand format. It’s also humorous. The best part is the customer service. I recently had issues transferring my purchase to my new iPad and they got back to me immediately and fixed the problem. This book is a great asset. ### 5/5 — Superior Customer Support *2019-11-06, version 3.4* I enjoy the somewhat irreverent methods used in the depiction of FAR’s, etc. The customer support is fantastic. I had lost the ability to download the app after changing devices and forgetting which Apple ID that I had used to purchase it with. Customer support helped me out and got my problem solved ASAP! Thought I would re-download on my new iPad just to brush up on some stuff. The customer service was excellent and they guided me through the process perfectly. Definitely makes an instructor’s job easier with source references provided 👍 ### 5/5 — Awesome Customer Support *2019-03-31, version 3.4* I had a very old version of the book from over 3 years ago that for some technical reason I lost when I replaced my iPad. I contacted the support email and within a day I had a response. With a few emails back and forth it was determined that my version could not be restored so final solution was to get me a complimentary copy of the next edition! This whole process was very timely and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve read the book before and find it top notch. I’m looking forward to using it now as a quick reference for those odd questions that come up working as a professional airline pilot. 5 stars!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — New IPad, and I can not get access to my 12th edition. *2021-09-30, version 3.4* I followed the instructions to restore my 12th version, the restore button doesn’t work and nothing appears. Yes, I have my Apple ID turned on, I try to sync, turned on and off the IPad and nothing works. No response yet, I sent the email to you trying to fix my problem. I can’t have access to my 12th edition. ### 1/5 — Previously purchased edition won’t upload to new IPad *2019-12-19, version 3.4* First off this is an amazing book and a great source of knowledge. After purchasing a new iPad I go to reinstall the app and it won’t let me upload the previous 12th edition I purchased. I’ve sent an email to the developers regarding my problem earlier last week and haven’t gotten a response yet (I understand it’s the holiday season but my check ride is in a few days..) After gong through the reviews, this seems to be an issue for previous customers that has yet to be patched. I should’ve gotten the paper copy.. ### 2/5 — Another $70 for the new edition?? *2019-01-05, version 3.2* I purchased this book (11th edition) on the recommendation of a couple of pilots friends. The book has a ton of great info and I love that they all have references for the source document. However, I was disappointed to see that within about a month of purchasing the 11th edition, the 12th edition was released and in order to get the update I needed to pay another $70. I wouldn’t mind paying a small update fee, but another $70 seems a little ridiculous. ### 2/5 — Great book but it erases on its own *2017-08-21, version 3.2* I've had this book for years now, as well as other e-books. Unfortunately this product stopped working right before my checkride. The only way to get it back on was to perform and ipad restore from when I originally purchased the product. I would rank higher, but only after they fix this major bug. ### 4/5 — Great Content Overall *2022-10-08, version 4.1* I’ve purchased the book once and updated the version on my iPad since Revision 11. My only complaints are that I’d like to see a little more intuitive way to find bookmarks and highlights and perhaps offer a discount to previous edition owners. Aside from that I really like the ability to find info on subjects that then cross-references source material as well as the overall tone of the material (yup…I appreciate the humor and sarcasm). ### 5/5 — Amazing book, amazing service *2022-10-26, version 4.1* I just wanted to thank you for the stellar service Shane provided. I had previously purchased the electronic version back in 2021 and my IPAD was stolen. For some reason we couldn’t retrieve my past version. So the team gave me a current version to enable me to continue to instruct. I demand each of my students purchases this bible to flying. I thought the book was a great review, and I still reference it from time to time 7 years later while I’m in cruise. I had an issue getting access via the app since purchasing the book a long time ago. The developer was quick to respond and help me resolve my issue. The book is FULL of useful info, info graphics and details. Really helpful for visual learners. Its a great book to have on your bookshelf or digital bookshelf. ### 5/5 — Purchase the best forget the rest🍒🙌🏼 *2022-04-23, version 4.1* Owned a hard copy in college through flight school. It saved me hours of combing through boring FAA Regulations while presenting the material in a format which is easily understandable. Purchased the 10th edition e-copy when I started my first 135 job and used it constantly to keep myself safe and legal. Years later I now am a 121, B-767 Captain and sadly my old e-copy disappeared…… sent an email and guess what? These guys restored my copy with the newest version! Purchase with confidence from this fine publisher.
