Everything, in one keyboard. A complete replacement for the one you use. LOOK Forty-two colours, thirty-nine key shapes and sixteen drawn backdrops, mixed however you like, changed from inside the keyboard. They move while you type — rain, fire, fireflies, meteors — and stop when it goes away. All contrast-checked. One-handed mode pins the keys to the side you reach. LAYOUTS QWERTY, Dvorak, Colemak and ABC. The iPhone has never offered Dvorak or Colemak on screen, so if you type one on a computer, this is the first time your phone can match. ABC is plain alphabetical. Autocorrect follows whichever you pick: it weighs a correction by how far your thumb was from the right key. SOUND AND FEEL Six key sounds — typewriter with a bell on return, mechanical, thock, bubble, retro, water — generated on the phone, not recorded. Haptics per key. For hands that shake, a key can be set to need holding, or to ignore a second press that wasn't meant. FONTS, FACES AND EMOJI Twenty-seven text styles — bold, script, gothic, wide, upside down — applied to a finished message, so you keep autocorrect while writing. Two hundred text faces, the full emoji set with skin tones and a slice of pizza as you type. SPELLING AND GRAMMAR Long-press for accents, an optional number row, and a height slider. Corrections appear above the keys and apply on a tap. Spelling works offline and needs no permission. Undo, which iOS gives keyboards no way to do. IS IT A SCAM? Paste a message you were sent and it says what it noticed: pressure to act now, an odd way to pay, a threat to an account. It takes two before it speaks. Links too: an address that looks like a bank and goes elsewhere, letters swapped for digits, characters from another alphabet identical to ours. Offline, never uploaded. WHAT DOES THIS EVEN SAY? Paste a clause, a form, a letter from a landlord — written for the institution rather than for you — and get it in plain English. IT CATCHES WHAT YOU'D REGRET A login code about to be forwarded to whoever just asked for it — the most common way people are defrauded, and the only moment it can be stopped. TRANSLATE Twenty languages, in the keyboard. Which one it's in is worked out on the phone. MESSAGES NOBODY ELSE CAN READ Agree a phrase with someone. After that, write in any app and what leaves your phone is scrambled text nobody can turn back. No account, no server holding the phrase. THE SMALL USEFUL THINGS A sum mid-sentence and the answer appears. Type "next friday" and get the date. A clipboard that refuses to remember login codes. A password generator that types straight in and never saves it. Save your email, phone and address once and a field that asks for one offers it — never a password field. Counts of your own typing, kept on the phone. One key opens all of it. WHAT PRO IS FOR AI review — grammar that reads the sentence, tone, rewriting, synonyms — translation, plain-English explanations, locking messages, and most of the themes, shapes, backdrops and sounds. Metered at about 8,000 words a day. Nothing offline is metered, ever. Reading a locked message is always free, as is everything else above: spelling, emoji, faces, fonts, undo, every check, the calculator, dates, passwords, sounds and the clipboard. WHAT LEAVES YOUR DEVICE Enforced in code, not promised in a policy. Password fields are never checked. While you write a locked message, every engine that would use a network is left out. No accounts, no analytics, no ad identifiers, no history of what you type. A screen in the app lists what each setting sends. WORTH KNOWING Everything Keyboard Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. None of them are recordings — they are generated on your phone, which is why they add nothing to the download and why no two keystrokes sound quite the same. The drawn backdrops move now. Rain, fire, fireflies, meteors and twelve more, running while the keyboard is on screen and stopping the moment it isn't. And twenty-five new key shapes, including some that do more than sit there. Save your email, phone number or address once, and a field that asks for one offers it. One tap fills it in. Never in a password field — those belong to iOS, and it hands them to whichever password app you use. For hands that don't always do as they're told: a key can be set to need holding before it types, so brushing past one does nothing, or to ignore a second press that wasn't meant. Both off unless you turn them on. Reduce Motion now stops the backdrop drifting and the ripples spreading, and there is a switch to keep them anyway. You can see what your typing looks like — how many keys, which ones, how fast, drawn as a heatmap over whichever layout you use. Counts only, never a word you typed, nothing at all from a password field, and it stays on your device. Sixteen more text styles, twenty-seven in all: serif and bold serif, bold script, bold gothic, wide, squared, filled, bracketed, mirrored, alternating caps, and one that turns your message upside down. The translate list says what the languages are. It used to name each one only in itself — Español, 简体中文, العربية — which is no help at all if you don't already read it, and if you did you wouldn't need translating. Every language now gives its English name too. The send check got quieter. It had been speaking up on ordinary messages — birthday texts in capitals, "you always know what to say", a door code sent to a friend — and now needs two signals before it says anything at all. Keys ripple where your thumb lands. The keyboard can pick a new theme for itself each day.
