This app continually sends notifications labeled as “breaking news” for non-important and out of market stories. Also, opting out of sports notifications does not stop notification of sports scores and stories. The app itself is also very glitchy, even on late model devices. As one of only a few local news stations in Lubbock, they should do better.

UPDATE: They blocked me on Facebook after leaving this review.

There are literally so many ads going on in this app that it lags even my iPhone 13 Pro. I understand there are costs to offset but when you degrade the performance of your app for them you’re doing it wrong.

I live in Middle Tennessee, but I'm from West Texas. Lubbock, TX will always be home. I enjoy seeing and knowing what is going on. My only complaint is I can't share some of the stories. This is not cool.
