For example, whenever I want to lock the car (whether im pausing the trip or ending it), it takes sometime for it to actually lock the car. This gets annoying over time, because sometimes I just want to grab something quickly and don’t have time to wait. The loading is especially worse when you end the trip, because it asks you to take a picture of the car, but that option takes a while to load. Just frustrating. Get your code optimized!! ### 4/5 — Has been a lifesaver during EV transition! But some learning curves *2026-05-01, version 22.1.5* I am so incredibly thankful that during this period of searching and buying a new EV, I can use the Evie service whenever I need to fill the gap! There was a learning curve at first between membership options and hub based versus free float, but as long as you view the ride cost calculator it helps you predict the most cost efficient choice for you. I would recommend making this feature more prominent and easier to access within the app, as you have to click a few buttons until you reach it. Where my home base is just a block outside of the accepted EV area, so I hope they continue to expand their working areas! Further in South Minneapolis and across Northeast. Calling the help line is easy and usually effective but there have been times I couldn’t get help right away or answers in navigating unfamiliar car models. Thankfully there are only a handful to get familiar with! It’s also been fun driving the different models and getting more comfortable with the variety of options that are out there. She stayed and had the beautiful baby girl 💜but we needed to move around and make things happen. After several failed attempts I had my “eureka” moment! Then get ready to be patronized by the head manager, who will passive aggressively brick your account, and ignore your emails, rather than communicate directly. The company is run by a money grubbing, immature scam artist who is clearly having some issues in her own personal life. Buyer beware—stay far, far away. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-11-29, version 3.5* Just an overall scam! I have always locked the doors (checked the door too) via the app and confirmed the trip is paused but on their end it won’t always register. They will charge you $50 every time this happens but will not dispute the charges when it’s their fault. The customer service is terrible too. I should’ve believed the other reviews they had. Just rent a car or get a Lyft. ### 1/5 — Charging Station Problems *2022-11-21, version 3.5* I spent 26 min on the phone with Evie trying to figure out why the car wasn’t charging at a designated charging site.
