### 2/5 — Rooting for this ring tracker

*2026-07-20, version 2.6.6*

I am really rooting for this to tracker, but it’s just not reliable. I sent two emails to support today. And I am hoping that they will help me or fix the problem. Most notable I cannot get the ring updates which is probably the main cause of all the issues. First, it’s just slow. Period. But beyond that at the moment I cannot see my steps on the main page of the app. Even though it is recording this. And second, I cannot change my sleep and wake time because it is showing an error message. So that is never correct. In no particular order the most important points for me are sleep, steps, calorie burn/activity. Sleep is inaccurate because of the error message. I cannot see steps unless I drill into the app and calorie burn/activity is so slow, I could walk a mile in the time it takes to update. I so wanted to live this ring tracker and I am rooting for the company to make this right and fix their overall performance issues. I hate writing this review but maybe it will be read by the company. Currently I am not a happy Evie ring wearer.

### 2/5 — Loved it until it broke

*2026-05-22, version 2.6.6*

I’ve now received 4 rings from evie because my ring breaks every 4 months or so. At first i thought it was water damage so I stopped wearing it in water. Then I thought it was damaged from lifting weights or sweating so i took it off for that even though that’s a main reason why I have it. The evie team has been great sending me new rings for free, but it’s frustrating that I have to replace the hardware quarterly and then it takes a month to ship so I lose a month of data each time. Also, the app is now incorrectly tracking my period which is another key reason I have the ring. I don’t know if this is a temporary bug or what but super frustrating when the main reasons i bought the ring aren’t functioning properly.

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2025-09-20, version 2.6.4*

I was drawn to this by the nice design and the promise that it was tailored to women’s health. However it doesn’t really deliver on any aspect.

I was recently trying to get pregnant and while it did allow me to track my cycle, it didn’t consistently track my temperature and also didn’t give any real time temp info which needs to be tracked for ovulation.

Once I got pregnant there’s no way to tell the ring that. It still prompts me to ask if my period has started. Kind of infuriating that pregnancy isn’t factored in at all.

Workout tracking doesn’t work well at all. Half the time it says I burned 17 calories in an hour. Step tracking seems to be accurate.

The AI tool is more frustrating than useful and the “insights” are laughable, basically recapping my steps per day/week etc. No insights as to how my tracked lifestyle factors impact my HRV or sleep quality or anything like that.

People comment on the ring all the time and I just sheepishly tell them I like how it looks but it’s basically a $300 step tracker.

### 2/5 — Ring’s Cute

*2025-06-01, version 2.6.2*

I like the ring itself, but I feel like the app is so bare bones — I expected a lot more. I returned the ring and keep coming back here to check for updates but it doesn’t look like there have been any improvements. Hopefully there will be updates and expanded capabilities so that I can purchase again.

### 2/5 — App lacks features

*2025-03-12, version 2.6*

The app is very basic and lacks helpful features one would expect in a sleep tracker. Considering going back to my Oura ring.

### 1/5 — New update crashes app

*2025-03-08, version 2.6*

App update does not work. App continues to crash

### 1/5 — Promising but needs work

*2025-01-29, version 2.5.1*

Updating - really disappointed with this ring and wishing I would’ve kept the Oura instead of returning for this one.

Nothing this app tracks is accurate.
-It frequently says I slept for 1 hour when I got a full nights sleep.
- it tells me I burned the same calories on days I worked out and in days I did not exercise at all.
- the heart rate check doesn’t work half the time

Highly recommend saving your money and going with the Oura ring.

Original review:
I’m really excited about this ring and I expect kinks since it is brand new- here is what I’m hoping will improve over time
- Accuracy - particularly my sleep is usually immaculate. It says I slept from 1-5 this morning but I went to bed at 10:15 and slept until 6:30. It also says I’m rarely in deep or rem sleep which doesn’t seem accurate.
- I wish the app sent me notifications when it noticed changes in heart rate or body temperature (I’ve heard that you can tell if you are about to get sick with the Oura ring- can this ring do that with body temp measurements)
- furthermore on body temperature, I doubt the accuracy of this. I get really warm when I sleep but it usually says I have a lower body temp while I sleep.
- I don’t like that I have to log a work out. Shouldn’t it be able to tell when I’m working out and log it for me? I already log work outs in another app.
- I thought the ring would tell me when I was about to start my period because it can tell by body temp. So why do I need to log it?

I am hoping to do more of a direct comparison to the oura ring once I talk to my friends who have that one. I am happy to not have to pay the monthly fee of Oura, which is why I chose the Evie ring. I hope the above can be improved so I can feel reassured in my purchasing decision.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-01-21, version 2.5.1*

I bought this to track my sleep patterns and my heart health. While the heart part works decently well, the ring only tracks sleep when it wants. I wear it every night and wake up to sync it only to be surprise with no sleep data for that previous night. Out of 7 days, it tracks 4-5… sometimes less.

### 2/5 — Sleep Tracking Needs Work

*2025-01-19, version 2.5.1*

I used to have the Motiv ring before it became obsolete and it did a much better job of tracking my sleep cycles than the Evie. This ring should be able to recognize I’m sleeping versus me having to tell it when I go to sleep. Please improve!!!

### 2/5 — Poor battery life

*2025-01-11, version 2.5.1*

I love the style of the ring. It has a feminine touch with the open design. The battery on the other hand does not last the four days like it’s supposed to. The ring barely lasts one day, if that. I have returned the ring three times for the same issue. Customer service has been great as they respond quickly and send a new ring. Still, the ring continues to have the same issue with the poor battery life.

### 1/5 — Extremely Fustrated

*2024-10-14, version 2.1*

DO NOT BUY!! I’ve had my ring about a week or two and it hasn’t worked since the day I got it. First the activity screen wouldn’t display my steps then it displayed them on and off after syncing, sometimes they’d show up, sometimes the wouldn’t. My sleep always displayed. Then I started having trouble syncing. At first I got it to sync by restarting app and/or phone. Now it won’t sync at all. Bluetooth connects but when attempting to sync it immediately returns sync complete but nothing updates, not even battery percent. I purchased due to favorable “article” in “reputable” publication by a women that had tested it. Lies! I don’t know what ring she was wearing but it was nothing like mine!!

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2024-10-11, version 2.1*

I am at this point on my third replacement ring. Very basic functionality and very spotty in logging activities and sleep.
During any extensive activity, the ring seems to completely lose power much less track activity. I had hoped to at least track sleep and activity consistently, but I’m not sure I’m getting accurate results.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-09-21, version 2.0*

I have followed the Evie Ring for a long time. I read about it before it was ever released and waited over a year for a chance to purchase it. I paid for it in 11/23 but didn’t receive it until 3/24. I wish I had returned it. Nothing about it is accurate. They’ve made several updates and I keep hoping it will get better but it hasn’t. For example: I slept almost 10 hours last night because I didn’t feel well. It says I slept less than 5. I’ve done nothing today but let the dogs in and out yet it’s telling me I’ve walked 1.2 miles. I admit that some days with the dogs, it feels that way, but it is actually way off. The app offers almost no useful info and what it does offer is terribly inaccurate. My advice is to skip this entire thing

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2024-09-03, version 1.13*

Edit: I know this review is for the app, but let me just say I’m waiting (30 more days) for my FOURTH ring due to problems with battery (three times) and disconnecting to the app (once). My first ring failed before the first month and I should have returned the ring, but I gave them a chance. Now their solution is to just keep sending new rings and there is always such a long waiting period. Don’t buy this ring.
Review: I like how the app is set up. Simple enough. I got this ring for the step count, because I don’t want to always have my phone on me and I don’t like to wear a watch. But the step count seems high. (It thinks I’m moving when I’m laying on the couch 😆) Which is a shame. I thought by now they’d figure out the difference between a hand moving and an actual step. But as long as it’s constant, I can still work with that. Also I wish I could connect the Evie app to my workout apps. Having to log workouts on multiple app is kinda stupid. I hope it gets improved. Nice enough to wear though. Sadly the sleep function isn’t not good. I woke up one morning at 8am, went to the rest room, got my clothes, synced my ring and put it in the case to charge while I showered, then put it back on, got finished at home and drove to work. (Got there a little before 9am) When I was at work I checked on my sleep and it said I woke up at 8:47 😆 that I had deep sleep during that time. This is happening a lot. Also if you lay in bed before sleep, it thinks you’re sleeping already. Soooooo that function isn’t too useful. I know this is an app review not for the ring but, there is no where to write a review for the ring that I could find. I hope upgrades help as I am enjoying wearing the ring. It’s comfortable and it is helping me remember to move more.

### 1/5 — Totally Inaccurate, Still

*2024-09-02, version 1.13*

Update after 6 months: it’s somehow gotten worse. Not measuring anything, let alone any accuracy. I put it on every few months hoping, and it’s awful each time.

Everything is very…off. Doesn’t recognize when you wake up, counts hundreds of steps in your sleep, no temp measure, has no idea if you have worked out unless you tell it. Design also has strange gray boxes behind each icon, but that is the least of my worries. The entire app/ring is just incorrect, updating with random information and seemingly hoping no one will notice. Customer service unresponsive; you can’t return or exchange because no one ever replies. I was so excited for the app to update, but nothing was resolved.

### 1/5 — 0 STARS

*2024-08-23, version 1.13*

I am on my second ring and it is completely useless!!!! The ring no longer syncs with the app, the sleep monitor was always inaccurate, and the features are basic and juvenile. Don’t waste you money and get an Oura ring instead!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2026-06-19, version 2.6.6*

The app wouldn’t stay open

### 1/5 — Where are the updates and development

*2026-02-20, version 2.6.4*

Why have there not been improvements or updates? There should be way more mood and symptom options by now and there are no fields for intimacy tracking. My ring says I’m on version 2.5.11, but the App Store says there is a 2.6.4. Why won’t my ring update? Very disappointed in the development. Flo app is leaps and bounds better and it doesn’t even require a ring.

### 1/5 — Had potential

*2026-01-26, version 2.6.4*

At first I loved my ring, and because I knew it was a new product I expected hiccups, but the user interface and the flaws of the ring itself, on top of the lack of proper customer support it was a flop. I hope they can try to make it better but they have to be willing to do the work

### 1/5 — I Think Not

*2026-01-25, version 2.6.4*

Compared to my old Motiv Ring this is an awful “upgrade”. I’ve had this ring for almost a year and the battery life on it is non existent now. It doesn’t connect to my phone or register to it without being on the charger and that’s only after an hour of usage. The app itself is fine……but the product steer clear. Try another market smart ring. If I could find a could Bluetooth pedometer I would trade this ring in a heart beat.

### 1/5 — Experience is defined by bugs

*2025-12-31, version 2.6.4*

The ring doesn’t work. The app doesn’t work. The entire experience is basically garbage. I can’t believe they even launched this into the world. I want to be kind, but I feel I’ve been scammed. They should’ve focused less on the visual design and hired better engineers.

### 1/5 — 2 replacements, never worked more than a few months. Poor costumer service

*2025-08-12, version 2.6.4*

Bought the ring, had charging issues after a few months. They replaced it no problems. It happened again. They replaced it no problems. But the third time, the said “ sorry, you only have so many replacements, you’ve used all of yours. But you can buy a new one” Hmm, buy a new ring that won’t work? No thanks.

### 1/5 — Deleting review

*2025-05-07*

I definitely reviewed this when I first got it - amazing they’re trying to say they only have 4 reviews. I’m on my fourth replacement ring. The previous 3 completely lost the ability to charge. The Rose gold fades within days. Ring will randomly disconnect on its own & stop recording data. Metrics are way off. The official launch should have been a beta test - they absolutely weren’t ready. It’s … sort of working now? Except spot checks don’t work and sometimes it decides not to record sleep data. Overall - had hopes for the open design but generally do not recommend.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2025-04-11, version 2.6.2*

The ring battery completely dies after 3-6 months of use! Skip this

### 1/5 — Don’t buy this ring

*2025-04-11, version 2.6.2*

I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with the Evie ring, and I regret ever purchasing it.

I’ve gone through two rings that completely stopped holding a charge within just six months each. For a $300 device marketed as a premium wearable, that kind of failure rate is unacceptable. This isn’t a minor inconvenience — it’s a clear sign of poor product quality.

What made it worse was the customer support. The latest replacement they sent was the wrong size and color — and instead of fixing it, I was told to just throw it away. Seriously. I followed up multiple times, and the VP of Customer Success personally responded — but still offered no meaningful resolution, just a polite version of “we’re done here.”

All of this happened in less than 17 months. Two failed devices, one useless replacement, and a support team that clearly has no interest in making things right.

Don’t be fooled by the marketing — the Evie ring is not worth the price, and the company does not stand behind their product. I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone.

### 1/5 — Bad product

*2025-03-14, version 2.6*

The Evie ring is trash. I’ve had to exchange mine no less than 5 times and they eventually refunded me the cost. Now it’s not working again and they told me they will not warranty it because they refunded me original purchase!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I love this ring!

*2024-06-11, version 1.9*

I did a LOT of research before purchasing this ring. I was an Apple Watch user for years, but as someone who struggles with disordered eating and exercise habits, I found the constant reminders to close my rings more triggering than helpful. I love that Evie lets me set my own goals, and it it doesn’t constantly hound me if I have an off day. I also love that step counts and exercise minutes, while broken down daily, are set as weekly goals. This is so helpful at giving me an overall picture of my progress. The app also helps me keep track of my cycle, and it’s free unlike some other smart rings. With the price, aesthetics, features, etc., I can’t recommend it enough.

The ONLY downside I’ve had is the battery life. I’ve had the ring and worn it consistently (only taking it off to shower + wash my hands) since February. The battery has held up very well up until the last week or so where I’ve noticed I’ve needed to charge it more frequently. It does charge VERY fast though, so this is definitely not something that would keep me from repurchasing.

### 4/5 — Definitely improving

*2024-12-23, version 2.4*

Movano is clearly responding to feedback and upping their game. Feels less like a public beta test and more of a fleshed-out overall product, which is nice. Still not thrilled about the circular layout for all the tracking, but what they’re going for makes sense.

### 4/5 — Update

*2024-07-30, version 1.13*

Did the update this morning and now my ring is not calculating my steps??

### 4/5 — Yay!

*2024-07-06, version 1.11*

I deleted my last review because I believe in being fair. Within the last month Evie has come a long way and I’m super excited! The App is working properly ,the last bug fixes did wonders. I look forward to what’s coming in the future with this company. Keep it up Evie team! 😀

### 4/5 — Great for a start

*2024-02-27*

This app works just like it says it will. It’s free, doesn’t try to sell you anything and doesn’t require subscriptions. no he’s doing something private to the door.
It perfectly syncs with my ring. I wanted a ring as opposed to a smart watch, so I don’t have to be tethered to messages and all the other distractions throughout the whole day. It was not good for me This has been amazing for my sleep tracking also. I have a lot of new insight.
Some suggestions the period tracking should have symptom buttons like in Apple health. The sleep data should be able to capture naps. And hopefully, soon you can make a contract integrate with Apple health.

### 3/5 — I love the ring but…

*2026-02-11, version 2.6.4*

It bothers me that I can’t see my data more than a couple weeks back (I’ve had an Evie ring for a year and I have no idea where the data goes, nor can I find in their user guide or on the web why I can’t see ALL my data. Help?)

Additionally, it would be much better/have more useful data if I could log sleep manually. Sometimes it doesn’t get my sleep (and yes, the battery is charged!) but most often, I have a hard time falling asleep. On a Fitbit I can change the start/stop time for sleep, which is useful as it then is tracking when I go to bed in addition to when I “fall asleep” per ring metrics, which is useful info to have for us insomniacs (a day I go to bed early and can’t fall asleep has differing issues than a day I stay up late and fall asleep right off … this is important to share with my doc as I try to figure out sleep issues!)

Lastly - battery life is not awesome but I finally caved and just charge it every day pretty much and it keeps up.

Otherwise, it’s beautiful, comfortable, tracks relatively well, and I prefer it to other wearables despite these downsides. Please, Evie/Movano - give us some updates! ❤️

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2025-01-11, version 2.5.1*

I’m disappointed with my purchase. I’ve had zero technical issues so I hesitate to write a super low review and rating but I don’t feel this ring adds anything that I don’t already have with my Apple Watch. I don’t see anywhere else to submit this feedback, so here I am. I expected to be able to view my temperature data, instead I’m presented with a temperature variance aggregate. How does this show me anything about my cycle? My variance is always negative. What does this mean?
I was also excited to see a new tracking for my workouts but I have to use the app to set up a workout in order for it to be captured. If I go for a run outside without my phone, the data isn’t captured. It’s not great at capturing my sleep data if I don’t go to bed during the window that I set up, 10pm to 6am. Overall I’m wondering what features does this ring bring that my Apple Watch doesn’t? How is this tailored to a woman? I want more data. I don’t care about the ai, what does this do exactly?

### 3/5 — Customer service good, ring has problems

*2024-09-05, version 1.13*

I bought the Evie ring. I hoped to get data for sleep tracking. It worked well for about 2 ½ months and then quit syncing. Evie replaced it without any problems. Second ring worked for a few months, then sleep data quit working. It kept telling to wear the ring more for data, even though I was wearing in regularly and also wearing it every night.

I decided to try deleting the app reinstalling it. Now the ring won’t even pair. It gives me the prompts, but continually times out before a pair happens.

I think I’m done trying this ring.

### 3/5 — Update lost all data

*2024-06-13, version 1.10*

Got a notification to update app and ring firmware. Did both. All historical data disappeared. So disappointing. Updates should not remove data.

### 3/5 — There’s potential

*2024-05-18, version 1.9*

TL;DR I like my Evie ring a lot. It does what I need it to, but there are some minor annoyances I find in the features.

So I’ve had my ring for a couple of months now, and so far I’ve enjoyed it — it’s done mostly what I need to do. However…. Some of the features on this app are woefully inaccurate and the lack of ability to edit, say, workouts, and sleep after the fact is annoying.

The sleep measurement started out very accurate for me, but recently it’s terrible. It’s said that I went to bed at 10:23pm and woke up at 8am, and I actually went to bed at 12am and woke up at 10am. That is a SIGNIFICANT time difference, and the inability to fix that data kind of ruins the metadata. For me, there’s been a few times where in the mood tracking, I’d like to add in another symptom of my own, but Evie doesn’t offer that option. As someone trying to keep track of possible health issues, that was a feature obviously nobody bothered to consider.

All in all, this app has potential as software updates and ring updates comes out in the future. The interface is easy to use and simple to learn, but there’s just some features I think are missing. If there is one massive failure on the developers’ part, I would say it’s the lack of communication and transparency with their customers.
