It’s bad. Sometimes you are lucky if you get sixty seconds of play before it crashes. Once it crashes or kicks you off, it often takes longer to get back in the game than the time just you played. Once you get back in, the game has you locked into the room-island that you were just in, but the loot you didn’t grab before the crash is no longer there nor is the champ you found and milled away at for a while until it was almost finished so you lost all that work and loot from that monster and then you have to spend game coins to restore your lost armor and weapon health from that battle. So the game remembers enough to keep any coins you spent before you got kicked off, but, it somehow constantly forgets you killed a champ or boss. Like if you had a daily or weekly task that was like smash 8 urns (and you were at 7 or 8) or kill 12 ogres, you get kicked off an you come back in and it shows you destroyed on 4 urns etc. Then you have to go do it again. This doesn’t just happen once in a while, it is a constant. Sometimes completing a task can take three or more tries per step due to these crash and setbacks. There are daily tasks, weekly tasks, 20-30 quests on each island before the biggest boss on each. So, if you think about any of the tasks or quests having 5 to 15 parts (weekly can be a lot higher numbers like 30 to 70 or more of something) and then think, you are going to get a crash every other time you get one of those parts, you end up spending the majority of your time repeating what you just did. The absolute worst is when this happens with the biggest boss on the island and you are two seconds away from beating it, crash. All the lives you may have used (scrolls of revival) to finish the big bad.. those are gone permanently and then you have to go do it again. It happens often enough with champs or bosses that you sometimes wonder it’s coded to crash like it does. I have much larger newer more graphic animated games on the device that never falter no matter how long I play. So It’s not the device speed, not the internet, not the settings on the device. I played the game for a few months several years ago and coming back to it, the issues have not changed at all 4 or 5 years later when I picked it up again. They added weekly tasks recently, but otherwise exactly the same. Wish it was better becase there is a great community of supportive players and good people on the game. I assume the game servers are not on the North American continent and that is a big part of the crash issue. If you are a glutton for this kind of punishment, you can build up the characters stats and weapons for free, but because of the issues, it is a real grind. ### 3/5 — Great game… *2026-08-08, version 4.3.0* Great game.. until you hit the grind. But in every world, every contest, you’re going up against Goliath with not much better than paper cuts for damage. You will need a second person to run with - you will not survive these levels without a LOT of help. And you both will die. A lot. Get used to Goliath’s various ways of ending you. While you can win some sweet gear, your equipment is not going to be sufficient for a decent contest on any but the first few levels. And as you get better equipment, the enemies scale accordingly - you will never hit them hard enough to match them, and your health won’t be enough. Basically, you are going to die repeatedly. We like to play together, but even at level 60, it gets a bit tiresome: the amount of experience required to level, and the insufficiency of those levels to match you to a room where you can survive. Diminishing returns curve is dialed against you. If you like fun and futility all wound up into a really smooth playing experience, some really cool graphic content, and sweet effects from your weapons when you finally manage to get enough paper cuts against Goliath and watch him fall only to have the nearest rat slink behind you and take that last 2 health for its supper - then this is your kind of fun. We’ll be there, waiting for you. Don’t hesitate to ask for help. 4 stars because we must love a really gritty, punishing grind with good graphics and smooth gameplay. ### 3/5 — Game keeps crashing *2026-07-22, version 4.3.0* This game crashes very often on my iPad. I’m afraid to leave the town to go kill enemies because the game will crash and then I’ll have to travel all that way again to pick up where I left off. If you do t see yourself spending tons of money on the gear purchases and gems for chests then don’t waste your time playing. I’ve been playing for years and only have a small handful of legendary gear divided amongst all three of my characters. I have been trying to get a few legendary crystals to upgrade my rune master for months on end just so I can create a rune word that I got the recipe for ages ago. In this game by the time you can achieve it its already lost it’s usefulness. unless you want to pay to win I’d suggest playing a different game ### 3/5 — Fun game but *2026-07-15, version 4.3.0* Don’t get me wrong it starts off very engaging and fun. I did read some people say it was pay to win and I did not experience that at 1st but… once I hit level 55 the monsters on the maps get stronger and take longer to kill unless you have top gear. Even with a group if you don’t have someone with high stats and gear will take longer to kill monsters. The most basic monster take long to kill as well they are not even bosses..That’s where the pay comes and almost everything is very expensive! To progress you need to pay to higher your stats and get better gear or it will take a very long time. They give extra chest with ads but the ads are buggy and long sometimes not giving items of if bugs out making you see more ads. ### 5/5 — I like it! *2026-07-13, version 4.3.0* I researched this game online and found that it’s most definitely a great game to play! I would compare it to a watered down version of Wow in app form. With it comes the same grind for quests and the very rare drops you hope to find. There is NO autoplay. You can watch ads for an extra goody chest or reduce timers for new quests but watching ads is not required. There’s no “real” PvP in the game but there’s a zone for it and you may find others in these zones. PvP is strictly voluntary. I had an issue with a purchase I made and after submitting a report, their staff had me fixed up within 30 minutes of the report..which is hard to find in app games.
