Be careful setting a schedule as if you want to program the best charging times at 11pm to 6am, that is actually 2 schedules… one from 11-11:59p and another from 12-6a. Also forget about putting in your electricity rates to allow it to estimate your cost, as those functions freeze up if you try anything but a basic rate. So if you want to program a TOU rate, you can’t because the second rate plan screen will not all any input whatsoever. ### 4/5 — Scheduling is awful *2026-05-10, version 1.06* Charging schedule is basic but difficult to implement. ### 3/5 — Difficult to reconnect to WiFi *2026-04-25, version 1.06* My biggest problem is it’s near impossible to reconnect the charging stationto my home WiFi if the password or the WiFi hub has been changed. ### 3/5 — Charger great, App clunky *2026-04-17, version 1.06* I’m happy with my choice with the charger itself. Installing it was turn key, the equipment is well-made, and works as it should. The app, however, needs improvement to be as great as the charger itself. Notifications are inconsistent. The configuring of scheduled charging is not clear making the automatic charging sessions unreliable. It does work for allowing me to manually start a session through the app if my car is already plugged in though. ### 4/5 — Scheduling needs work *2026-04-13, version 1.06* It won’t let me create more than one schedule that might conflict with another schedule. You can only have one schedule selected at a time, so there would be no ‘conflict’. I want to have duplicate schedules, but set the rate of charge depending on my house needs. ### 3/5 — Cluttered UI *2026-03-28, version 1.06* The app is okay but it is cluttered. Some settings are under “General”, others (like the electricity plans) hide behind a tiny “I” icon. Also, there are nowhere near enough options to reflect the complexity of Southern California electricity rates and schedules, which differ between summer and winter and weekday and weekends/holidays for us. ### 3/5 — Lacking functionality and buggy *2026-03-18, version 1.06* This app is stuck on a schedule that no longer exists and had to reset unit to be able to charge. App never corrected and is still stuck. Plus the scheduling sucks, you can’t do a continous scheduling, scheduling is per day only. Happening to my and my wife's phone. Went through the whole setup process again and same. The competition has a much better app interface - starts with Emp… ### 1/5 — Not user friendly *2026-03-29, version 1.06* If you have your car on a charging schedule, you have to also go into the EVIQO app and tell the charger to start charging. For example my Tesla is set to charge at 6 am, but the Tesla app says the charger is not ready. I have to go to the EVIQO app and press start to get the charger to provide power. So no automatic charging, it requires human intervention. Very inconvenient. ### 1/5 — No scheduling function! *2026-03-17, version 1.06* The scheduling function for this charger does not work at all for my Ford Lightning! Reached out to customer service and they said “Development Dept” would be following up with me. The notification schedule would still shows up as the vehicle was charged but it wasn’t even plugged in and resulting in with orphan information. I get that professional electricians will know, but it would be good to have the information to the consumer to check work done by certified electrician. Maybe pictures would help? The unit booted great on first time, installation of app and registration was really easy.
