## Most critical reviews (8 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Less useful update.

*2025-02-11, version 3.18.0*

This update is awful. It is now confusing to organise charging schedules.

### 1/5 — Does it work?

*2022-02-25, version 2.0.17*

Not sure why log in does not work and support is negligible / non existent so very disappointing.

### 2/5 — Ability to schedule charging gone

*2025-02-08, version 3.18.0*

With the new update, the option to schedule charging start and finish is gone, it’s a real shame because it would be a 5 star otherwise

### 3/5 — Meh

*2025-05-23, version 3.22.3*

I love to be supporting NZ tech, but especially given the price of these chargers the app experience is “meh” at best. It’s just a shame because it wouldn’t be hard to add extensive extra functionality to app, while in reality we are stuck with an app that isn’t much more useful than a charging/not-charging indicator lamp.
* Has no way to use the metrics on current grid renewable availability to start or stop charging.
* Charge scheduling is finicky at best. A “start charge in/at X time” button would be good for utilising free power days.
* No way to access the house amperage data from the installed sensor, despite being front and centre on the installer app. Now I have to go and buy a seperate device with the exact same sensor to be able to monitor this - what a waste!

### 3/5 — Good hardware

*2025-01-04, version 3.17.35*

Needs a few tweaks! It would be great if we could have a PAUSE button on the APP to stop the charge and select a start again without having to unplug and re-plug in the cable again. This will allow us to plug the charger in at any time and pause the charge to a time when convenient power is available.
Another issue is that the software on the hardware often looses internet connection even though our broadband is a strong connection.

### 3/5 — Good start - bit of work needed to improve to the standards of other chargers

*2024-12-05, version 3.17.31*

The charger as app is pretty good. I like the Tesla integration. A few simple features would really help improve the utility.

You can check your charging summaries by date but only individual date ie you can’t select the date range between who specific dates.

There is also no way to export charging session history to an excel or pdf document which would also be pretty slick.

Overall a good charger but still feels a little like a work in progress.

### 4/5 — Good but needs refinement

*2024-05-04, version 3.11.1*

This app seems pretty solid but would benefit from more informative messages and notifications as they tend to be quite cryptic. For example, I got a message that "we can't charge you at the moment". Why not?? I also got a message that the charging rate was reduced "due to load profile". It needs to clarify what load profile it is referring to - mine or the grid operator? That said the basic app works pretty well.

### 4/5 — Review & Feedback

*2023-04-22, version 3.5.0*

Great app and system, ready like the new information from the 'Live Grid Emissions'. Would be great to see the power reading in the app from the install meter.
