Getting someone on the phone requires way too much effort. The app is bad. The UX is shoddy, the IA is nonsensical, the logic engineered to inform the UI was clearly overlooked, the process for onboarding a new property is done with little accountability which means addressing/fixing mistakes boarder on an exercise in futility. I pay Evolve too much money (10% total revenue including the cleaning fee) to be doing this much work myself. I’m actively researching other options for managing my two current properties and the third that will be live in July. Proceed with caution. ### 1/5 — Terrible- Inconsistent and Glitchy *2022-12-21, version 9.7* For two years I’ve been an evolve owner and this app is consistently glitchy and problematic. Often times it shut down when trying to open it, calendars are often not available, and a lot of going to a desktop browser because it’s unavailable often. The reviews aren’t even in date order though it pulls the reviews from other platforms. Lots of issues and doesn’t allow for changes to your listing directly; have to go through evolve personnel to change. ### 2/5 — Update issues *2022-12-20, version 9.7* For the last several days I have not been able to access the owners app. It prompts you to update the latest version, but there is no update on the link. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it and this does nothing. To access owner info now you have to go through the web-based version. ### 1/5 — Glitchy *2022-12-19, version 9.7* This app rarely works without a glitch and almost never opens correctly. Currently it won’t load, informing me that an update is required and I must use the link provided which takes me to the App Store. When I go to the App store, there’s no update - only an option to open the dysfunctional app. It’s a broken loop. Make this better Evolve, please!u ### 2/5 — This app could be useful…… *2022-12-19, version 9.7* The app has not worked properly in over 1.5 yrs. Deleting and updating does nothing. I have written and explained the bugs I experienced - with no solution. I rarely use the app now, it’s so frustrating! Does not work: * The bell letting you know there is a new booking or communication - kicks you out of the app if you click it. * Switching between pages - most often kicks you out. Then have to start over. * When checking reviews, you must start back over every time you want to read the next one. * Currently I have not been able to even get on the app at all. It’s says to update app. I have, I have deleted and reinstalled- nothing! ### 1/5 — Poor app from a poor company *2022-12-19, version 9.7* Apps aren’t always indicative of the company, but in this case it’s true. App is blocky, buggy, and rather useless. Company is about the same, tbh. They do not approach the properties in a unique manner, or take into consideration owner feedback or concerns. They charge guests extra fees over the booking sites, and refuse to dynamically price properties. Whenever advice is sought to increase revenue they recommend lowering rates to increase same day turnovers, which still costs the owner more money on cleaning fees and wear and tear on the property. Just stay away ### 1/5 — Updates???? *2022-12-18, version 9.7* This app is horrible. Upon opening the app I am asked to update to the latest version in order to continue. So I click on the link in the app to update. This takes me to the App Store, so I search for the app to get the last update only to find that there isn’t an update and hasn’t been an update for at least a year. I’ve only been using the app for a few months. I have tried closing out the app and restarting but it is the same message loop of needing to update. The website help page is also useless. My only recourse is to delete the app and try and reinstall. Ridiculous. ### 1/5 — App fails *2022-12-18, version 9.7* I have been using the app for the past 3 years. Though at times it has been a little unstable, it has served it’s purpose. However now for the last couple of weeks it has not worked at all. I keep getting an error indicating that I need to update to the latest version. Which I am on.
