Notification I was getting notifications about evolved plus so I decided to do the free live event. It doesn’t show up as a paid app on my phone so there no way to report a problem. But it keeps charging me $19.99 a month. HELP! I feel like I’m in a nightmare trying to get help for this. ### 1/5 — No option to cancel! *2025-10-10, version 4.80.2* After the free 7 day trial there was no option to cancel or report a problem on the app. The app didn’t show up in subscriptions on my iPhone so I had no way to cancel and my card was charged! I didn’t have my hands on the keyboard at the time and the keyboard on my end was not malfunctioning- as I’m on the computer constantly with no other issues outside the evolve app. This makes me think that the app has security issues- I would be concerned about personal information. Also, on 4/28/23 the app continuously crashed during a live reading. Also, creator used profanity - so I if you do use the app be careful having little kiddos around. ### 2/5 — Review *2025-10-08* I am surprised at the reviews being so high. While I joined simply due to the founder, it had the feel of just another APP with links to a half dozen other sites and very little content. Each other site requires you to enter everything all over again, and after viewing two sites and listening and reading a bit I find nothing new. Yes people chat and are like minded, maybe that's the point. I didn't find enough value in the content to justify continuing. Add to this on one of the sister sites I put in the information for my horoscope, all while logged in, all information known. A little while later after having clicked out accidentally, I clicked into it again to read to someone and the horoscope had completely changed for the same day so it's clearly just some algorithm not tied to me in any way shape or form despite putting an extensive information. Disappointing app. ### 2/5 — Maybe I’m Missing Something? *2024-01-28* Maybe it’s just me, but it’s…eh. Now, I have loved JE since I found him 24 yrs ago. His books, his shows, his live appearances, all of it! I don’t know what I expected this app to be like - I’d always thought it’d be awesome if he had one! - but this one isn’t really my thing. There are multiple “rooms” or “groups” with different names, and yeah, it appears to be a “safe” space where you can share without others coming after you for whatever reason. However, the content in each one all seemed the same. It’s mostly FB ultra-lite: none of the drama (as far as I saw), and all of the (nonoffensive/non-funny) memes…99.9% of which are pretty pictures with tired platitudes or quotes, or posts by members simply saying “good morning,” “have a great day,” etc. There’s the occasional link (“watch John on so-and-so’s podcast today!”) but nothing huge. These are supposed to be “likeminded” people, but I felt sorely out of place. I didn’t see any real discussions whatsoever. It all felt very superficial. I don’t think I posted a single thing. I never even saw a post I was interested in commenting on. After 4 months (too long) I decided to cancel, because at $20/month, it’s a little spendy for the content I described above. (The private VIP FB group had more going on in it than this does, and that was free when I purchased a ticket to JE live in Austin). I really tried to give it time and dig in (again, for 4 months!) to find out exactly what makes this app worth $20/month, and why I don’t see another review like mine, and maybe I’m missing something, but I never did find it. I don’t even know what’s in the free version (probably nothing), but I can’t get into the paid version at all.
