Unless you’re into R rated games that are going in the direction of becoming an X rated game, stay away. If you don’t like vulgar language, arguments and real life threats, stay away . If you want good customer service, you won’t find it here. If you want to play a good game, it isn’t this one. There are so many other games, do yourself a favor and stay away. I know you will regret it. I’ve really only scratched the surface here, it’s so much worse in reality. They will never fix a problem. They will never compensate you for your loses in game . Evony will only reply with automated messages. Evony only caters to people who spend thousands of dollars every week. Evony does not care about its players/customers. Do not download this game. The only way to achieve anything is by spending big money. You will never be able to compete because match making is unfair. You will never u lock the things necessary to advance because it takes lots of money. Evony will only rip you off. I only give give it one star because I can’t give it zero. I’m a K43 with 13.5 billion power zeroed because of glitches they say it’s my fault. They take away VIP points and tell me nothing they can due. If I remember correctly false advertising is illegal. Maybe you should create more accurate ads or eventually someone is gonna do something about. Once you start and download it, it’s hard to leave so it’s best not to start at all. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. ### 1/5 — Trash slot machine pay to play *2026-08-21, version 5.32.0* Why does this game have a top rating? It is a really basic rock / paper game/ scissors kinda game. Very little actual strategy. The grind in this game is ridiculous … there’s a name for players that pay to win “coiners” but as for pay to win games go that I’ve played - this is the greediest and the worst. Terrible grinds, some that require thousands (I said thousands) in order to keep up near the top, be prepared to spend hundreds to tread water, and free to play? You might as well commit seppuku now. The dailies are super grindy requiring at least 45 minutes of your time, then there are weeklies, timing of various battle events like Zama to BoC and these all take hours to play out. Then there is server to server and PvP - the slightest mistake or bad bubble or maybe you just are on a really mean server - all that stuff you farmed for hours will get raided away instantly the second you aren’t on top of it. Every new server comes with the same glitches, and customer service just plays dumb when you complain about it. When you do have actual connectivity issues, customer support offers chat bots to apologize, but no actual help. The third party add ons make it bad for an honest player. Even though terms of service prohibit them you will not do well in later game stages. The pay walls are ugly and required to be competitive. The in game bugs are constant and requirements for customer service assistance are a nightmare. The servers eventually gets to one or two alliances with crazy attitudes and everyone stays bubbled because of the egos and paying people can zero you in one hit. It was fun at first but now it’s a drama field of two alliance server with everything just repeating daily. Same thing everyday same people everyday and Evony just wants your money.. ### 1/5 — Misleading *2026-09-03, version 5.33.1* Downloaded the app to find that the game was nothing like it was advertised. Not to mention one of the advertising videos used AI, which is already a controversial topic and when used in marketing shows the poor representation of this game. I hope i find a game as in the advertising, something simple, easy and fun to play. Unfortunately, you also have to be able to put up with extreme vulgar language, insults, threats, and a horrible customer service. I have found that there are two types of players. The coiners and the non/less coiners. The coiners skip things in order to speed up their level increasing process. Things like research take time. This is the opportunity for the non/less coiners to build a solid strong city. Don’t give up. You will get there because coiners tend to quit when they start losing. Good luck! Knights and Kings are part of the game as well as war and dragons. Fantasy dominates all.
