### 1/5 — Still garbage

*2026-04-23, version 3.0.1*

It’s like a child wrote this app. Completely full of bugs!

### 1/5 — Update is a downgrade

*2026-04-16, version 3.0.1*

A few weeks ago this app was “upgraded” and now has much less information both while charging and after.

### 1/5 — What happened???

*2026-04-13, version 3.0.1*

Was working great and then they made an update…get an error now with page not found and can’t find my old account. Horrible rollout of an updated app.

**update** Now today, I go to use the app and it does not even open. This is very frustrating that they are Pushing updates that don’t even work.

### 1/5 — App blank

*2026-04-13, version 3.0.1*

Very frustrating if it’s even working. Currently i just have a blank white screen so can’t charge my car at work. When it has worked, requires text security code to login as opposed to just having a password. Cell service in garage is terrible so takes an extra 5 minutes in the morning just to plug in my car (which is deducted from my hour grace period when charging is complete).

### 1/5 — garbage app

*2026-04-13, version 3.0.1*

this app never works

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2026-04-08, version 3.0.1*

We have these chargers at my office. Terrible. No way to stop charging in the app, and even worse, when you close the app, you lose your charging session and have no information if your car is still charging unless you go into your vehicle’s app and maintain the session there. In addition to that, the charging station sometimes only charges at half the rated speeds. I hate that you have to scan the QR code on the charging station too, instead of just finding the station in the app. Not cool when it’s raining and you’re standing in the rain, waiting for your camera to take a good wet photo. I miss the old Blink chargers and app we used to have at my work.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2026-04-05, version 3.0.1*

Absolutely terrible app. I’m regularly overcharged because the app does not issue notifications as it’s supposed to.

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2026-04-05, version 3.0.1*

Easily one of the worst apps I've ever used. I had this app for a few months and it was great. Had my apartment chargers here, able to track when they were used and free. Now, all that is gone. My apartment chargers don't show up, I use the app to pay and just closing the app means I lose all tracking of what I'm being charged. Whoever changed this app to make it worse should be fired

### 1/5 — 404 error on QR code….

*2026-03-31, version 3.0.1*

The QR code button opens a 404 page….. LOL. Terrible useless app

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2026-03-31, version 3.0.1*

The app was updated and now isn’t functional. The QR code does not work and gives a 404 error.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2026-03-25, version 2.0.15*

This app and charger is extremely infuriating to use. The app works once then you have to uninstall and reinstall because it doesn't always terminate your session and you can't have more than one session open at a time. Private chargers are not private. They still show up on the public map but everyone who has access to those "private" chargers cannot see them so you have no idea when chargers open up. To use those private chargers you have to log into the app each time you plug in because it forgets who you are. On top of all of the software issues, the chargers fail constantly and don't charge your car. Use anything else.

### 1/5 — Terrible service

*2026-02-20, version 2.0.14*

Unreliable

### 1/5 — Terrible customer service

*2026-02-14, version 2.0.14*

Plugged into one of their chargers, started the session and made sure it was charging. Walked to the restaurant and when I checked the app it said it had stopped and they were charging me an idle fee even though my battery was at 36%. Customer support completely useless and I was charged an idle fee for nothing. Will not use them again.

### 1/5 — Worst app, worst charger reliability, worst company

*2026-01-12, version 2.0.14*

I’ve had an EVPassport charger in my parking spot for 2.5 years and it has never worked and the company can’t get it to work even after 6 supposed repairs when they say it’s been fixed. Avoid at all costs.

### 1/5 — Notification issues

*2025-11-02, version 2.0.13*

Frequently fails to send a push notification that my charging session has ended. No option for text message notifications either.

### 1/5 — Not ideal

*2025-10-21, version 2.0.13*

Got stranded at an EVPassport in the middle of no where Texas at 2am. Called the helpline, woman who tried to help me was great but ultimately got stuck on a trickle charger when the fast charger wouldn’t work on the app or website. Was stranded for multiple hours charging… won’t be stopping at another EVPassport location. That is for sure.

### 1/5 — Does not work with ios26

*2025-10-20, version 2.0.13*

Don’t be fooled. This app hangs with iOS 26 and never opens. Tried all the fixes. Can’t use the mobile version bc even though it allows me to “login” it doesn’t give me my “free” 4 hours parking at work. Boo!

### 1/5 — Avoid at all cost

*2025-10-15, version 2.0.13*

I have tried to charge using the app and even going to the charging station directly- ABSOLUTE FRUSTRATION- beware of entering your credit card number- lots of complaints of repetitive charges on credit card

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just Awful

*2026-07-09, version 3.0.3*

I have used a lot of apps and this is by far the worst I have ever had the displeasure to use. Just never works, makes everything so inconvenient and hard to manage. Just the complete opposite of efficient. I would give it 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

### 1/5 — Terrible since update

*2026-06-22, version 3.0.3*

The absolute worst app of all time especially since the refresh. Always has connectivity issues, never able to stay logged in, check charging status etc

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-05-22, version 3.0.3*

This app was totally fine, and worked as expected. Then they updated it, and every single time you go to charge, you have to allow the app access to your camera and location, scan the QR and log back in. Every.single.time. It’s infuriating to basically set up the app from scratch every time you want to use it.

### 1/5 — Terrible experience

*2026-05-22, version 3.0.3*

They don’t deserve any money for how badly designed this app is. It requests for camera access every single time. Then they blame the customer when the app crashes and doesn’t even charge… Terrible experience

### 1/5 — Terrible Interface

*2026-05-09, version 3.0.3*

Whatever they changed to this newer version made the app from a solid 4-5 stars to 1 star. Constantly having to reinstall the app, the QR code never opens the app anymore, having to constantly update location and camera permissions and it using an in-app browser instead of it being local to the app, and the actual servers EVPassport uses aren’t updated properly on the backend, showing a session that I don’t even have. I only have this app because my apartment has these chargers installed.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-05-01, version 3.0.3*

I hate that my apartment community switched to these because now I have to drive across town to find a charge point. App has so many issues how do they intend to make money if it’s so difficult to pay them.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-04-30, version 3.0.2*

This app got updated and barely functions anymore. I have to login every time, it forgets all entitlements every time, today loads to a white screen, so I can’t charge. How is this acceptable?

### 1/5 — App

*2026-04-30, version 3.0.2*

Doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-04-27, version 3.0.1*

I use our charging stations at work when they are available. I used to check the app before arriving to see which charger was not in use. Now, it doesn’t even recognize the location. If I scan the QR code I can charge that way, but it doesn’t register in the app anymore. WHAT HAPPENED?!?!

### 1/5 — Update Ruined the App, Doesn’t Work

*2026-04-25, version 3.0.1*

This app is terrible. I’ve had errors where I was charged a crazy idle fee because charging failed and I have to frequently uninstall and reinstall the app just to be able to start a basic charge. Horrible user experience and could not recommend anyone avoiding this company or these chargers enough.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-04-09, version 3.0.1*

Works reliably and I use it everyday.

### 5/5 — Great charging service

*2026-04-03, version 3.0.1*

I chargers daily with no issues. Scan, pay and walk away.

### 5/5 — Works fine

*2025-03-26, version 2.0.6*

I used it this week, and it worked flawlessly. I punched in the station number after plugging in, and it just worked.

### 5/5 — Easy to use, no sneaky stuff

*2023-05-05, version 1.3.1*

This app is incredibly easy to use and doesn’t require providing sensitive personal information just to charge your car. Apple Pay integration means I can start a charging session in seconds and be kept up-to-date with push notifications along the way.

### 2/5 — Unreliable

*2025-10-01, version 2.0.10*

Constantly getting errors on app. Download ed and reinstalled several times. Wish my apartment complex went with different provider.
