Do you have a holiday apartment and handing over the keys constantly annoys you? Do you no longer have an overview in your company of how many keys are in circulation? Do you feel unsafe because of lost keys? Then it's time for AirKey. With AirKey the smartphone is the key. You can safely send new keys to other smartphones and manage your access control system online. But what do you need? An AirKey locking component, a smartphone and an internet connection. And if you don't want to use a smartphone, there are alternative access media too, such as cards or key tags. Uncompromising security! The communication between smartphone and locking component is end-to-end encrypted, making it completely secure against interception. The app is secured with an additional PIN. Vorab: Ich finde das Produkt nach 2 Tagen super; es macht an vielen Stellen echt Spaß; aber die Schwachpunkte wiegen in diesem Zusammenhang einfach echt schwer: Einbau -> Kinderleicht! ABER: Ich hatte den Dichtungsring in der ersten Runde vergessen und dachte gut; beim Batteriewechsel muss man den Knauf ja auch abnehmen; also schon mal üben. Ich habe es in ca. 20 Versuchen nicht geschafft, den Knauf im bereits eingebauten Zustand ordentlich zu verbinden. Egal ob ich 4, 5 oder 6 mal gedreht habe; entweder saß er nicht fest oder die Verbindung hat nicht geklappt. Lösung: Zylinder wieder vollständig ausbauen; es im Trockendock am Esstisch machen -> es klappte auf Anhieb. Aber auf den ersten Batteriewechsel freue ich mich jetzt schon - NICHT! Medien programmieren -> hatte ich als Kinderspiel erwartet, war dann in der ersten Runde doch etwas stolperig; ging aber! ABER: iPhone als Mittel zum Codieren lief extrem unzuverlässig; Meine Vermutung/Erfahrung: Handsfree-Funktion sollte in dem Fall lieber deaktiviert sein. (Wäre ich gern früher drauf gekommen) -> Steht wohl auch im Online-Handbuch; wird aber nicht in der beigefügten Kurzanleitung erwähnt. und damit wären wir dann auch schon bei der harten Kritik: Hands-Free mit dem Telefon, sollte das „Killer-Feature“ sein - ist es aber nicht. Vom Aufwecken des Zylinders bis zum grünen Blinken sind es fast 10 Sekunden. Klingt erstmal wenig; aber wenn man vor der Tür steht und wartet; dann nervt es - die Schlüsselanhänger brauchen weniger als die Hälfte der Zeit. Zudem muss trotz großzügiger Reichweiteneinstellung das Telefon sehr nah am Knauf sein. In der vorderen Hosentasche funktioniert es noch ganz halbwegs - im Rucksack auf dem Rücken -> No way! Handsfree ist also eher ne Lachnummer; passender wäre „Du brauchst Dein Telefon nicht entsperren; solltest es aber besser trotzdem in der Hand halten“ Könnte mit der Apple Watch sehr viel einfacher sein. Es ist mir unerklärlich weshalb es dieses Feature immer noch nicht gibt??? ### 2/5 — Ziemlich unzuverlässig *2025-05-26* Die Schließ-Funktion wirkt mit der iOS-App unausgereift und instabil. Die Programmierung funktioniert. Die Hands-free-Funktion ist unzuverlässig. Etliche Male stand ich deshalb schon minutenlang mit Schweißperlen vor der Tür. Der Zylinder blinkt nach dem Aufwecken langsam blau und es kommt nach dem Entsperren des iPhone im Hands-free-Modus scheinbar keine Kommunikation zu Stande. Manchmal blinkt der Zylinder kurz noch etwas schneller und dann wieder langsam, eine Schließung findet aber auch dann nicht statt. Möglich, dass iOS die App im Hintergrund in den Tiefschlaf geschickt hat. Ist ein Hands-free-Versuch schiefgegangen, gibt es danach auch Probleme, mit dann geöffneter App noch einen Schließung hinzubekommen. Leider hakt es auch immer wieder, wenn der Zylinder aufgeweckt wurde und direkt aus der geöffneten App ein Schließvorgang gestartet wird. Die App zeigt zwar an, dass dieser erfolgt, aber der Kreisel dreht sich nur ewig und es passiert nichts. Am Zylinder blinkt die blaue LED langsam weiter. (Entfernung dabei etwa 15 Zentimeter.) Auch der richtige Abstand zum Zylinder ist eine Herausforderung. Halte ich das iPhone 14 Pro mit iOS 18.5 nah an den Zylinder, reagiert das iPhone auf die NFC-Funktion des Zylinders - und zeigt dann die Kreditkarte aus dem Wallet an! Nur die Airkey-App spricht darauf meist nicht an, auch nicht in geöffnetem Zustand. Dann wird offenbar versucht, per Bluetooth eine Verbindung aufzubauen, und dann kommen beide Drahtlos-Verfahren sich scheinbar gegenseitig ins Gehege und es gibt reihenweise Benachrichtigungen nacheinander, dass keine Verbindung aufgebaut werden kann. Mitunter blinkt der Zylinder dann endlos schnell blau und reagiert auf gar nichts mehr. Die Möglichkeit, aus der Ferne Berechtigungen versenden und das Smartphone verwenden zu können war für mich der Grund für die Entscheidung für Airkey. Hier muss dringend nachgebessert und die Zuverlässigkeit erhöht werden. So produziert das echt Frust und ist nicht wirklich praxistauglich. **Developer response:** Vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback! Bitte beachten Sie, dass AirKey für iOS ausschließlich für die Nutzung per Bluetooth konzipiert ist. ### 1/5 — Not yet fit for purpose *2025-03-26* Whenever I want to open the bar to the garage, it switches to Apple Pay and my credit card asks if I want to pay, instead just opening the gate. It worked after I removed all my credit cards from the phone pay functionality. Sometimes I leave my phone behind and it’s inconvenient. Klingt am Anfang alles etwas unverständlich, aber wenn man es einmal gemacht hat, super easy. Top Qualität zu einem guten Preis. ### 1/5 — schrott *2024-02-24* Das Schloss selber ist an sich wirklich gut. Die App für das iPhone ist eine Katastrophe. Kein NFC. Keine Anbindung an die Apple Watch. Verbindungen, und Öffnungen der Tür maximal drei Punkte von möglichen zehn Punkten. Das wirklich schlimme daran ist, dass diese Fehler schon seit Jahren moniert werden. Es ändert sich aber nichts!! Ich frage mich, was die App Entwickler von Eva AirKey System wohl den ganzen Tag so machen ? ;-) Sollte sich jemand mit dem Gedanken tragen sich das Eva AirKey System anzuschaffen - und er hat ein iPhone - dann rate ich ihm dringend davon ab. ### 4/5 — Gute App mit Potenzial *2023-06-14* Benutze das AirKey Schloss in meiner Wohnungstür und bin damit sehr zufrieden.
