I participated before the developer launched this app. Seeing how far Evvntly has come has been a fun journey. Thanks to Evvntly, I’ve seen so many great concerts and made wonderful memories. It’s a fun experience in trying to score tickets in their in-app giveaway if there is any in the area. The worst thing is you just don’t claim them in time but it’s still a nice thing for us concert lovers. It comes in clutch as a reminder too as to what upcoming shows as I have terrible memory. If you love free event tickets, I highly suggest downloading the app and seeing for yourself. I’ve been to a handful of concerts within the past year thanks to evvntly! It gets me out of the house and I’m grateful for the app creator. This app gives free concerts for those who are fast enough to claim them! You have to be lucky to catch it in time since you’re competing with many others who love free concerts as well but hey, a free concert is a free concert. The app also shows events nearby your area too. Most of the shows being given away are in Southern California but they are currently expanding to many states and venues. So unprofessional and creepy to spam someone on two accounts. BEWARE **Developer response:** This is a review from the same user who left a similar review. We take the safety, security, and overall experience of our community very seriously. Unfortunately, this user violated our Terms of Service by repeatedly spamming our feedback form with identical submissions and posting unrelated comments on multiple giveaway posts. As outlined clearly in our Terms, this type of behavior results in an immediate account limitation to protect the integrity of our platform. Despite these violations, we made a good-faith effort to resolve the user’s concerns by reaching out via both email and Instagram. The Instagram handle was publicly listed in their EVVNTLY profile, and email communication is consistent with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which outline how we attempt to resolve user issues. Unfortunately, the response we received was not productive, and we made the decision to block the user on Instagram in order to maintain a respectful environment. Every action we take is in the interest of maintaining a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone on EVVNTLY. ### 1/5 — App founder abuses your personal information *2025-03-22* This app requires your full name and email for ticket pickup, which is normal for any ticket app. But the lack of information security is not normal. Currently, the founder and sole developer of the app has taken to spamming me on social media from multiple accounts because I stated issues I had with the app not loading, using in-app comments (he has now removed the comment feature from the app). I used the feedback feature to ask how to fix my app settings because it was not working well, and he apparently emailed me back. Because I didn’t reply to his email within 24 hours, he spammed me on social media from 2 accounts, and then said he “had to limit my app access because I didn’t reply”. This is so scary and invasive. I am terrified this person will use my personal information recklessly since he had no issue spamming me on my social media. It scares me that he has my full name and email. Please be careful where you put your personal information.
