They then refuse to refund for the subscription which is shocking customer service. This is now the third time I’ve tried to cancel my subscription and request a refund for the last two payments. I have contacted them three times, clearly asking them to cancel my subscription and refund the money, but I have received absolutely no response. Despite this, they continue to charge me every three months. It is completely unacceptable that customers cannot properly cancel their subscription, cannot get a response from customer support, and are simply left to deal with recurring charges. I find the way they treat their customers extremely disappointing and unfair. Good customer service should not be this difficult. Please be careful before subscribing. When I contact customer support, it must be a bot because it is the same answer every time— Login to cancel subscription. But when I login, it says that I don’t have a subscription. The answers are not correct, saying I selected the wrong answer and stating an incorrect answer is the correct one. I have been getting charged for at least 2 months for an account I have closed and emailed them about. Both them and Paddle, the company that handles their billing, have refused to stop charging me. It should be simple and transparent to cancel a subscription, but I cannot find a clear option to cancel inside the app. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to stop my subscription, and I find this extremely frustrating. Signing up is easy, so cancelling should be just as easy. In my opinion, the cancellation option should be clearly visible and accessible to every customer. Please make this process more transparent and user-friendly. ### 1/5 — Poor quality audio, poor translation, many missing or wrong pronounciations *2026-08-22, version 7.131.0* The multitude of five star reviews are fake. The movie clips are dubbed and often too short to hear the words. There’s no spaced repetition in the lessons so you just go through the same few words over and over and over again. You can’t delete anything from your vocabulary list so you still have to translate words like “no”. The translations are frequently wrong and the pronunciations of Spanish words are sometimes in English. The only good thing about this app is the audiobook feature, but beware, the extensive library is almost entirely in robotic tinny machine voices that just march through each word without actually telling you a story. In the Spanish version, there are 21 books that are read by humans but these are beginner level summaries. If all you want to do is read (without audio option), there is a good collection here, but you can get that for free through a library. As others have said, they use the deceptive practice of providing the subscription outside of Apple so it does not show up on your Apple Store account. ### 1/5 — Estafa *2026-08-22, version 7.131.0* Anule la suscripción hace mucho y hasta el día de hoy me siguen cobrando, no hay manera de hablar con un soporte para que resuelvan, está conectado con algo que se llama Paddle que quien me manda recibo intento hablar con ellos y no tienen como solucionarme me ponen distintos correos pero nunca el mío, realmente son unos estafadores ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-08-21, version 7.131.0* I recently signed up for this app. I am in English speaker and trying to better my Spanish. My first basic lesson was pretty simple and straightforward when I logged in everything was written in Russian, I had no idea how to get out of it or convert to English. I have contacted support to see if they can resolve this issue. These guys are crooks. The website was absolutely horrible. I requested refund and cancel cancellation. They didn’t either. I sent in eight emails just wanting to know how much they were charging me. They refused to tell me each time they just said I signed up for the superior subscription and then the max. It was an absolute horrible website just awful. We stopped counting the one star reviews at 300 and it goes back at least seven years so these guys have to be stopped. Thank goodness, we have an attorney in our family and they believe a class. Action lawsuit is in order and is the way to go. We’re going to put all the emails and correspondence and lack of online through my nieces website. then there’s a popular review site out there that everyone can hook up and we can get a class action started against these criminals define consequences. Just spread the word sit back and wait. They will hit you back with check your spam email or contact our customer support for help just BS responses. We’re just getting started here on our end, but do spread the word. These guys are crooks and scammers. You have to pay to play!!! MY NEPHEW SAYS DON’T DELETE ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE AND TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF EVERYTHING File and pay attention to trust pilot online and BBB scam Tracker. The attorneys will be in touch once they have collected enough information I am told. So stay informed if you’ve been scammed by these people stay in touch with these two websites for later details to put your name on. This is where the company claims their headquarters to be: Lithium Lab Pte Ltd is registered in Singapore — the registered office is at 1 George Street, #10-01, One George Street, Singapore,  and it was incorporated in Singapore on April 27, 2018.
