Used once or twice and hasn’t let me access anything since. Just shows an error code. Using the website now at least that’s working …… so far. Annoying that I can no longer see updates at a glance and have to sign in online every day. Good idea, shame it doesn’t work.

I want to be very clear that I am reviewing this app as an app. I am not reviewing eWay themselves.

This app is terrible. It’s basically just a set of links to their mobile website which open in your phone’s browser causing you to have to log in again. Uploading documents just takes you to a broken web page, and it’s very hard to interface with.

I’ve not worked with eWay long enough to review the company.

This app is the least functional thing on my phone

I’m not entirely sure why this app was created as it never works and probably only worked the first three times logging in then after that nothing. I put my four code password in that it prompted you to create when first signing up, and each time I do, an error message pops up. I have deleted it and reinstalled and still the problem persists. A bit of a pointless one here.

I selected the solicitor I am using because they were online and I thought having an app which I could use on my phone would be helpful as I could keep on top of the sale whilst out and about.

To start with the app worked well, however 4 days after using the app I can’t get anything except a JSON error whilst logging in .  I deleted the app and reloaded and I still get the same error.   It a pity as it looked good but ended up being as much use as a tv
Remote without batteries.

Like most others here, the app is useless I can’t even log in now, I’ve reset the app and changed the password as requested and applied a one time passcode sent to me, and guess what, the dreaded error message, once maybe but not five times, I tried to award no stars but have been forced to award this app one star

The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format.

Appalling app. Terrible UI, rarely works, limited functionality. Ended up reverting to the website.

Inept and poorly designed app that brings no benefits. Barely functional initially, which within hours become frozen, greyed out and unusable. No support available as signposted to conveyancer, who does not manage the app. Links to a browser variant which is marginally better, but only just. This makes a complex process even more painful.

I wouldn’t recommend installing this app. Most of the conveyancing functions simply redirect you to the website, so the app doesn’t offer much real functionality. It worked for about a week before I started getting a 401 error and haven’t been able to log in since. You’re better off just using the website directly.

Be aware that sometime after your case is closed you probably will not be able to access your document files. I advise you to print your documents and communications and store them as hard copy. You might need them in the future.

It's not a bad app, it just doesn't really do anything and sends you to the website if you try to do anything, might as well just go to the website instead.  It gives you the occasional push notification I guess, that's about it though.

This app has potential to be useful but currently everything diverts to the webpage via safari!
I use it purely as a web shortcut, can't find any other use for it.
Great to sign in with fingerprint, but shame it's potential is not met by actually functioning as an app!

Great concept, poorly executed. If you want to change anything or read anything it takes you to their online portal anyway (via safari). I ended up deleting the app and using a shortcut instead.

It would be useful if the app made your account usable offline.

If you are going to redirect me to a browser every time I drill down to get more info that makes this app redundant.  Just takes up screen space so deleting it.

Less than a week into using this app, and it’s got a bug which shows this weird error message and stops you from logging in. As other reviews have pointed out, the app directs you to the website anyways (which is also glitchy and has security concern - I’m getting emails saying my password has been changed when it hasn’t….  ). The idea for this app - track all the actions for house buying and selling - is a great one, as the time wasting and bureaucracy involved in house buying in the UK is insane. So my two stars are for the great idea. But unless it works, it’s just another idea not implemented properly.

The reviews from the last couple of years highlight the same issues - it always redirects to safari anyway so why use the app ? The app doesn’t seem to link people - you answer some queries and your conveyancers isn’t aware of your emails even though the email is listed in the events on the app. And currently the app isn’t working at all - I’ve emailed the solicitors about it and not had any reply. The problems with the app aren’t even being addressed so not sure why solicitors continue to bother with it ?

All this app does is tell you that you have a notification which I receive a text and email about anyway. If you click on most things in the app it just takes you to the website.
I don’t really see the point in it.
