## What is eWCAT?

eWCAT, electronic Well Control Assurance Tool - a tool to help monitor and manage well control compliance, provides a detailed view of the current well control compliance status of every work unit under contract, and can be used to report KPI Key Performance Indicator data. It helps ensure consistency, rigour and transparency throughout your company in the assurance of well control. The objective is to reduce the risk of a major well control incident occurring.
