Faster to connect and searching video is much easier. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 100x better but still terrible *2026-04-17, version 26.0.3* Somehow this app is 100x better than the old one but still awful. Search doesn’t work at all. Manually scrolling back a few days doesn’t work at all. It’s slow as molasses. That just tells you how bad the old app was. Basically this one looks nicer and doesn’t crash as much but is still virtually useless. ### 1/5 — Barely functional? *2025-10-19* The new design is an improvement to a point but does not work very well has too many bugs in it?? Using the slider to try and go back and find things is not incremental enough.? I seem to miss a lot of things that are happening because of the way that it plays video playback. Needs a better system to look back at Video and stop the app from going black and not being able to see the video streams. They need to figure out what’s going on! ### 1/5 — Will not connect!😾 *2024-12-18, version 24.11.2* I’m literally plugging in the EXACT SAME ip address of the current working server being used in EXACQ MOBILE ver. 24.09.2.0 (this version connects with no issues) But it refuses to change screens or even give me an error message… just freezes ### 1/5 — Nope *2024-11-08, version 24.09.8* After entering the ip address and log in info the app says system unavailable. ### 2/5 — Lost credentials. *2025-05-07, version 25.03.16* Absolutely ridiculous for a company of this size and this age to release an app and cause every single customer to have to re-authenticate and re-enter their username and password. We are a very small company and I know we lost a couple thousand dollars in labor having to deal with this. ### 3/5 — Improved but with issues *2025-04-11, version 24.12.5* Although I like the new layout and use of being able to access video playback, but I’ve noticed a few things different from the previous version (before the facelift): 1) it drains the battery much faster, 2) the iPhone gets a lot warmer when watching video and 3) whether in portrait or landscape mode on a single camera, after several minutes (maybe less than 5min) the image stops but the timeline keeps moving. Unless you are constantly watching you are thinking nothing is happening, but unless you noticed that the time stopped you could miss what you are watching for. I hope that they take this into consideration and fix these issues. One suggestion that would make this 5 stars is allow PTZ overlay on full screen video. Add the arrows on the edges of the screen and this will be a winner.
