App is easy to use. I do wish some of the parameters would give an actual reading rather then “LO” or “HIGH” so I know how far off I am. Example: Calcium “LO”, I want to know how low. I also don’t like that each individual test on the app costs $. Example: nitrite strips cost $12, but to download the test, it was an additional $5 to download. That was disappointing. I did purchase the “marine bundle tests” to download, that was $25. Didn’t include nitrite which is critical when cycling a tank. ### 4/5 — SPA Testing made Easier *2022-02-02, version 3.0.4* Just got one of these for Christmas and it has really made my chemical testing life easier. The only reason I didn’t rate it as 5 is because I have to enter the customer name each time before I use it and then have to enter a site before I can save the results. I’m sure there are other users like me that only use it on their own hot tub. It would sure be nice to have the option added to set the customer and site just once for us. Others that use it for multiple customers/sites could still use it w/o setting that option ### 4/5 — I both Like & I am Happy with it. *2021-12-11, version 3.0.4* It is very accurate. My data is stored in spreadsheets and I thought Bluetooth and the app would streamline data entries. What I quickly found out is the app is completely designed for the cheaper iDip device and not the dual range commercial device that already has every test possible loaded. There is a learning curve but once you master it it’s easy to get your aquarium water tested. One thing I would suggest is better interface/integration between devices. If I test and input data in my iPad my iPhone won’t show that history. Časté poruchy a chybové hlášky během měření, tj. nutnost opakování testu. Za ty peníze je to neskutečný šunt a to nepočítám náklady na nákup testovacích proužků jenž jsou k měření potřeba. Instead of standard one-time Bluetooth pairing, it must be reconnected time and again to try to make the device work with this app. This solution is NOT worth the money or the time it took to get it to work properly. What if you don't have an app enabled phone? Why should I pay for each test algorithm I want to run? Talk about milking every last drop from the consumer...geez people. I pay for the unit, I pay for the test strips, now I have to pay for the algorithm to see the test results? Entered manual tests while being tormented with nonstop location requests. I never have any second guessing with this by my side to assist me in maintaining my saltwater aquarium system! Every test result gives me confidence that it is letting me know what steps I need to take next with an exact plan because the results are so precise! Having all my test strips in one small box keeps everything organized and the digital calculations makes life much easier than trying to compare liquids to color charts. FRIENDS DONT LET FRIENDS TEST ANY OTHER WAY!! Lol. ### 5/5 — Great Product and App! *2019-08-15, version 2.7.7* I’ve been using this pool water tester/app combination to test my pool water as well as the pool water of other family members and friends pools for just over 2 years now and am very happy with its performance. I’ve even used it to test drinking water from various sources. It’s easy to use, accurate, and the ability to save and share results via the app is very convenient. It can test for more parameters than I will ever need, but its nice to know those options are available. I am a skeptical consumer so in order to ensure accuracy I compared the test results from the iDip with the test results from various local pool stores (of course using the same water samples), and the iDip was in fact accurate. What I did discover however is that the expiration dates on the test strip container must be strictly adhered to. For the most accurate results ensure that the test strips you are using are not expired. Very important! And use new batteries. As far as the company “Industrial Test Systems” is concerned, they are a pleasure to deal with and stand behind their product(s). I’ve been dealing with them since about 2013 and their customer service is, in a word, outstanding. Over the yearsI I’ve personally dealt with George Baily, Robin Locklair, and currently Jesse Riggin. They all take pride in their products and do their very best to address any issue or concern.
