You can clock in, and clock out. That’s it. If you are currently clocked in, you can’t see where you are clocked in, or what time you clocked in. You can’t view previous entries. You can’t fix errors in previous entries.

I regret having wasted my money on this app.
First of all is not cheap at all, and secondly I did expect at least a decent service of the app and servers, but the app is always down, the guys did check in but the app didn’t registered… it’s a headache. Definitely I would not ever use this app even if it was free.

Whatever you guys updated on the last cycle completed destroyed the functionality of this program. It was 3-4 stars prior to this update. Remove the clock out feature on the web page, and stop the changing times. The three minutes from before wasn’t bad, but changing hours around and etc will cause me to quickly look into other options.

This is the worst of its kind. The geo-fence rarely works, and that is The one feature they is critical for any small construction business! There are better apps that cost the same or less.

It works some of the time but is very inconsistent. I get a lot of errors “Server Busy, try another time”. Am I supposed to work for free till it’s ready to clock me in?
It randomly clocks me out during the day whileI don’t even have the app open. Half the time when I clock in, it goes into a countdown then clocks me out after a few minutes.

If you work multiple jobs there’s serious flaws. 
1. If you clock in for job 1 and head to job 2. You have to clock out then clock in for next job. It would make sense that if you are already clocked in and need to go to another job then you should be able to just clock in with the next address and it automatically clocks you out of job 1. Instead it leaves you clocked in on job 1 and job 2. When you go to clock out from job 2.  It just shows you still clocked in at job 1 with no option to clock out. 

2. When you clock out from job 1 then clock in to job 2. It randomly clocks you out usually between 4-9 min later. You have no idea it does it until you check your time card. So if your paycheck relies on this info...do not trust the app. Double check your time all the time. Then go through the hassle of letting your payroll department know the discrepancy in times so they can fix it.

Super sketchy app. Geotrakker barely works. Sales reps are super sketchy. You’re gonna have to spend an entire day calling, being told someone will call you back, just to have no one call you back. Waste of time.

Couldn’t find a place for suggestion so i will post it here... the website interface to check hours or employees checking they hours is awful, not optimized for mobile devices, most info is truncated and off screen, beed to add dynamic resizing and scaling for mobile devices please.

So as an Administrator for my company for the ExakTime system, I see a lot of other options that most people don’t even realize is available. Reading through some of the reviews, they seem a bit much. Not sure how long they’ve had this but time cards are available on the app. From what I can see, it will store your whole length of term with our company. Even how long you’ve been working for that day.

Another point is that what most people don’t realize is that battery drain isn’t really being caused by the app. Imagine if you were to run Google Maps all day, you would probably say the same thing about their app when it came time for a review. One thing I do know is that their GPS features only work when my guys are clocked in. I was a bit skeptical at first so I tried it for myself and it does indicate if your phone is being pinged by that feature... if this tracking feature was even enabled by someone like me and not in our company’s case. If it were, what does most of us do when we get in our cars? Plug in our phones. Not an issue. 

My point here is if you are a business owner, you understand that we’ll get our bad seeds every once in a while, we should reward the good ones and this app has helped us determine who is who. Not only have we stopped time inflation from how we used to do things (Paper Time Cards) but my payroll person no longer is pulling her hair out every Wednesday afternoon wondering if the time they are presenting her is correct. They have also helped her out by cutting down almost a full day’s work to do payroll. 

If it works for you, great! You’re saving money. If not, no worries. You have nothing to lose but maybe time spent on the phone but certainly a lot more to gain. Their support is better than most and when I do need help, they’re just an email, phone call or chat away. My team definitely benefited from their trainings and I don’t think we can go back to our old ways.
