Very inconsiderate of the poor common folk. ### 1/5 — Customer support non existent *2024-09-18, version 5.1* This app deleted a quiz I was going to take and now I cannot. ### 1/5 — Horrible experience, horrible customer service *2024-09-18, version 5.1* The app uploaded my answer file as “corrupt” so it cost me both my grade in MED SCHOOL, and a long time on the phone with customer service who just read the same things I was sent in email. Additionally they had to look up answers for every question I sent and were incredibly hard to understand. It cost me several hours on the phone over 3-4 days just to make no progress. I would not wish this level of service on my worst enemy. HORRIBLE, AVOID AT ALL COST. ### 1/5 — App does not show all schools *2024-07-18, version 5.1* My school is not available on the iPad version, only the desktop version. Such a silly problem, and should be extremely easy to fix, yet apparently this issue dates back nearly a decade. ### 1/5 — Dumbest app I’ve ever used *2024-05-23, version 5.1* It works ok on an iPad, but I could not enter the app using a laptop. This is a neglectful approach to take with a software required by many schools. ### 2/5 — iPad Crashes *2023-10-10, version 5.0* Every time I try to take an exam on this app, the app crashes and I need to restart my iPad every time. ### 2/5 — Needs a fix for free answer questions on Secure Exams *2023-10-09, version 5.0* I have just recently started using examplify on my iPad and found it great for the first few exams I took. However I took my first “type in your answer” question last week and it caused the app to crash instantly as soon as I tapped the box. I had to get the resume code from my instructor and had issues even putting that in. Not only that, when the app crashes, it no longer will remove the assessment mode lock down so you need to force restart your ipad to get the wifi back on so you can upload. It's a game of random chance trying to get anything to work. Sometimes it works for no reason and most of the time you'll have to try again another day just to get on the website to read your score. I can only imagine this started as a prank on higher education and then administrations actually started paying for it. No upload option after exam has been taken, IT about as helpful as a wet noodle. Please university do not use this program and demand your funds back. They have scammed you. ### 1/5 — Almost didn’t get into MEDICAL school because of Examplify *2025-11-14, version 5.4.1* This is the only app I ever write review for, but I will give my feedback. This app glitched and randomized my answers for most important exam that was determining my whole life, getting into medical school. Thanks to faculty member I was able to do whole exam ON PAPER again and still pass. Also, I see people constantly lose their grades due to app not uploading exam/quiz due to lack of WiFi. Ok, then maybe upload it once WiFi reconnects in 1 minute while iPad is still opened instead of finding out it didn’t in 3 days? What are all of those updates for? I need reliable app that simply works without extra bells and whistles. Awful, just simply disgusting. There have been multiple occasions where I have had to delete and redownload the app to access assessments as well as needing to constantly monitor updates. The professor view is just as poorly designed and leaves much to be desired. Any university/program that is thinking of using this app would be making a substantial error. I would highly recommend exploring other options that are programmed by someone with a frontal lobe. Everyone in my class is having the same problem please fix immediately. There are still QoL problems like autofilling the last answer whenever a math operator is pressed after a result, instead of giving a invalid input. As a student I've had mostly good experiences taking exams on examsoft. I started using it 2 years ago and at first there were some issues with highlighting but it has been perfect since that got fixed. Put completed assessments at the bottom, not the top. For failed assessment uploads (say, missed upload deadline) eventually have it "time out" and stop giving an error message every time. I've had to delete the app and reinstall it several times to circumvent this frustration. Otherwise, solid. ### 3/5 — Capitalization madness *2020-11-23, version 4.1.1* When free typing an answer, the App capitalizes each letter after you backspace. Drives me nuts and makes my timed writing assignments look awful and unprofessional. ### 3/5 — New Interface *2019-02-06* We use this app all the time at our school for Exams/Quizzes. The new interface is okay, but the old color scheme was WAY better. The new color scheme is kind of difficult to see/differentiate. Honestly, this app has a crazy amount of potential for being great, but they really need to invest more time/money into developing a more user-friendly interface that is simple, efficient, and functional for everyday testing use. It would also be incredible if the test results or file could be downloaded and imported from this app rather than go to an online link to access this.
