## What is Excellent?

Make room for excellent work.\n\nExcellent is a native spreadsheet workspace for Mac, iPad and iPhone. Open a workbook, work with familiar formulas and turn a selected range into a chart—all in a clear, thoughtfully arranged interface.\n\nWORK WITH YOUR FILES\nImport XLSX, CSV, TSV and workbook JSON backups. Keep sheets, cell formats and original formula text together. Large Excel workbooks can use their saved formula results, helping you inspect and edit data without recalculating every formula.\n\nBUILD WITH FORMULAS\nExplore hundreds of functions, search syntax and use formula suggestions as you type. Calculation runs locally on your device. English and Turkish formula names are accepted.\n\nSEE THE PATTERN\nCreate charts from a selected range. Choose chart types, adjust the view and export a chart as an image or PDF. Sort data, apply filters and build value-based pivot summaries.\n\nSTAY ORGANIZED\nStart with a blank workbook or a budget, invoice, project-plan or gradebook template. Search recent workbooks and star your favorites. Changes are saved automatically in your local library.\n\nEXPORT WHAT YOU NEED\nExport a workbook, a sheet or a selection. Formats include XLSX, ODS, CSV, TSV, PDF, PNG, HTML, Markdown and JSON, with scope depending on the format. An unchanged imported XLSX can be exported as its original file.\n\nKEEP YOUR WORK LOCAL\nNo account is required. Workbooks stay on your device. Optional nearby sharing connects devices directly through Apple's encrypted local networking.\n\nCOMPATIBILITY\nExcellent is an independent app. It is not Microsoft Excel. Some Excel-specific features, external links and macros are not calculated. Large-workbook mode uses saved results; after editing source values, those results may be out of date. Edited XLSX exports may omit embedded charts, images, original pivot objects or other application-specific objects. The app shows compatibility information when importing.\n\nBuilt for a clearer, quieter way to work with numbers.
