## What is Excise PDF?

Remove private information from a PDF without uploading it or paying for a subscription. Excise PDF finds common patterns, lets you mark exactly what should go, and checks the separate copy it creates.

Free to download, and your first PDF is free.

FIND & MARK
Excise automatically searches for six formats: Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, IBANs, email addresses, phone numbers, and dates. It shows what it finds and asks which searches to add. Dates are off by default.

On Mac and iPad, select text directly on the page and choose whether to mark that occurrence or every match the scan finds in the document. Add as many words, numbers, or phrases as you need. You can also draw a rectangle to remove everything underneath.

REVIEW
Review every match and marked area before redacting.

READY
Excise writes a separate copy, clears 14 supported hidden-data categories by default, reopens the saved copy, and reports Verified, Review required, or Not verified. Compare the original and redacted versions before saving or exporting.

WHAT IS FREE, AND WHAT IS NOT
Opening, redacting, checking, and the full receipt are always free, for every document. Your first PDF saves free. After that, saving a redacted copy needs a purchase: a Single PDF covers one document and every later save of it on that device. Unlimited PDFs covers every PDF on your Mac, iPhone and iPad, and folder processing on the Mac. No subscription.

• Processing stays on your device
• Buy Unlimited PDFs once for Mac, iPhone, and iPad
• No account or subscription
• On-device OCR for scanned pages
• Folder processing on Mac, with Unlimited PDFs
• PDF share extension on iPhone and iPad
• Your original PDF is not edited in place
