## What is eXciteOSA®?

eXciteOSA® is the only daytime solution clinically proven to treat the root cause of mild obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring, rather than simply relieve the symptoms. The device only needs to be worn for twenty minutes a day, once a day, for six weeks, and twice a week thereafter.

eXciteOSA® improves the muscle function of the tongue through painless stimulation therapy. Improving these muscles prevents the upper airway tissue from collapsing and trains the upper airway to remain open during sleep, thereby improving sleep quality.

The eXciteOSA® app connects to the device via Bluetooth to activate and customize each therapy session. The app conveniently tracks your progress, keeps you focused on therapy goals, and shares valuable sleep tips with you along the way.

Let’s begin your journey towards better sleep. Download the app today.

The eXciteOSA device is available in the following countries: United States, UK, Canada, European Union countries, and Australia.

### 3/5 — Device Works. App is Bad

*2026-08-01, version 5.0.4*

After 10 months of therapy the mild to moderate sleep apnea is virtually gone. Sleep scores are consistently good and I can’t remember the last time I awoke with that feeling of gasping for air, it’s been months.

My only complaint is the app experience is totally at odds with my experience with the device. I’m not getting any glitches or issues anymore but it’s just such a subpar app relative to today’s standards. It has the feel of apps that are connected with companies barely making it and not able to afford real progress and refinement. Or alternatively, just don’t care about client experience at all. It’s a shame because the device seems to have real value. I hope this changes for the better in the future. Would be great if the app was a positive attribute and not an impediment.

An example of poor quality is the reaction time feedback test. I have yet to make it to the end of a test without it stopping responding to tapping on green. Works for some time then gets less and less responsive, then just doesn’t respond at all. I keep hoping it will work till the end because it is fun and might supply some useful feedback, but no such luck.

### 1/5 — Awful AI support slop

*2026-07-19, version 5.0.4*

The AI help feature is useless and the human support escalation nonexistent.

### 1/5 — App makes compliance difficult

*2026-06-29, version 5.0.4*

App has been terrible for me. Here’s why…1. There is a compliance schedule, but the app does not tell you what it is and it is hard to find elsewhere. Miss too many days of treatment, and you are reset to the beginning without explanation. This is a PITA because electrocuting one’s tongue for 20 minutes a day any more than necessary stinks. (App should state compliance criteria clearly at beginning of therapy so users are fully informed) 2. App requires internet. This is a problem if you are trying to continue therapy while in a remote location or don’t have internet access.
Miss too many days and you will be reset. (App should allow offline therapy for a period, syncing later when internet is available) 3. App only warns of low battery as you start therapy, so you must charge the unit instead of doing therapy at the desired time. It’s a problem if you don’t have time to do therapy later that day as you lose a day for compliance. (App should proactively warn at end of session that battery is too low for next session.) 4. App has frozen just before completing a session, so I lost a day for compliance as I was not going to suffer through another 20 minutes of zapping my tongue after already doing it for 19+ minutes. So, now I restart therapy at square one for the second time because of these issues. Not pleased!

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2026-06-17, version 5.0.3*

Bought this and used it maybe 3 or 4 times. Forgot about it and 90 days had went by so now it says I have to buy a new one forcing me to spend another 135 bucks plus for a new mouthpiece that I barely even used in the first place. What a scam of a product.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t connect

*2026-06-16, version 5.0.3*

The app doesn’t work kn the latest version of iPhone. Support just says they are working on it but it’s been almost nine months. Don’t bother until they update the app.

### 5/5 — I’ve had great customer service

*2026-05-02, version 5.0.2*

I appreciate ANYBODY who is trying to make an alternative to Cpap. Some of us poor miserable souls are desperate for a good night’s sleep and Cpap just makes us feel worse every morning. It is too soon to tell yet if this device is helping lower my apneas. However, I’ve had great customer service. The app worked great at first, then stopped working after my phone updated. I emailed the company and called them and they mailed me a new device that works with my phone. Very much appreciated.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy - doesn’t work

*2026-03-20, version 5.0*

As many others have said, you need the app, but the app text message verification process is broken.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy this!!!

*2026-01-21, version 5.0*

The other reviews are accurate. The app doesn’t satisfy the basic use of the medical device. My iPhone14 has sporadic connection problems that prevent session completion. I upgraded to an iPhone17 and it’s STILL unsupported altogether.

### 2/5 — Device works but app not helpful

*2026-01-11, version 5.0*

There is no battery level indicator and the battery died in the third session not the 4-6 indicated in the directions. Feedback is only available in a few areas. What is the reaction time test, how does it work?

### 1/5 — Non Operational

*2026-01-07, version 5.0*

I just got my device and it won’t even connect on a brand new IPhone 17 Pro
