## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.1 — 2026-07-30

Every exercise now has an anatomy visual, and the library has been reviewed record by record.

A VISUAL ON EVERY EXERCISE
Each row now shows an anatomy figure with that exercise's muscles highlighted - primary in orange, secondary in blue. The figures are drawn in the app, so they work offline and exist for all 1,009 exercises.

FILTER BY HOW AN EXERCISE IS PERFORMED
A new variant filter: body position, bench angle, grip orientation, grip width, single-side or alternating work, loading, technique, range of motion and support.

BETTER ALTERNATIVE SUGGESTIONS
"Similar exercises" now accounts for how an exercise is performed, not only which muscles it works, and says why it was suggested.

REVIEWED CONTENT
The whole library was read in both languages. Ten exercises gained clearer safety guidance, three were rewritten where the instruction was wrong, and muscle tagging was corrected on thirty. The front of the shin now exists as its own muscle group.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-29

More than six times as many exercises, a completely redrawn muscle map, and the full app in Swedish or English.

1,009 EXERCISES INSTEAD OF 158
The library covers 25 muscle groups, 18 equipment types and eight categories — bodyweight and resistance bands through barbell, machines, kettlebell, powerlifting, olympic lifting and strongman. Four difficulty levels, from beginner to expert.

SWEDISH AND ENGLISH THROUGHOUT
Every exercise in the library has its own name, instructions and tips in both Swedish and English.

A NEW MUSCLE MAP
The figure has been redrawn with real muscle shapes, and a heat map shows where the most exercises are: the darker the muscle, the more exercises it has. Each muscle's whole drawn area is its tap target, so both arms and both legs respond, and the selected region is no longer hidden behind a label.

FASTER SEARCH AND FILTERS
Search and filters respond faster as you type and combine choices — even in the larger library.

FIXED
The figure is no longer stretched out of proportion, the pinned muscle card no longer steals taps from the adductors and quadriceps, and in Split View on iPad the layout falls back to the stacked view instead of clipping the detail pane.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-07-27

The app still works fully offline, with no account, ads or tracking.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-23

Major update with full iPad support and real workout logging!

New: The iPad app. ExerciseLibrary is now a true iPad app with a sidebar, a persistent exercise detail pane, a widescreen muscle map, and keyboard shortcuts (⌘1–5).

New: Log weight and reps. Every set can be logged with weight and reps — and the app shows what you lifted last time ("Last: 3×8 @ 60 kg"). History shows each session set by set, and any past workout can be repeated with one tap.

New: A rest timer you'll notice. Sound and haptics when rest ends, a notification if the app is backgrounded, and a countdown right on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

New: Program templates. Six workout programs (full body, upper/lower, core, powerlifting) that copy into your own editable routines.

New: 19 new exercises — including rhomboids, neck, resistance bands, plyometrics, and expert level.

Improved: interrupted workouts can be resumed, exercises can be added to routines straight from their detail page, a "my equipment only" filter, a first-launch guide, a redrawn muscle map, and lots of polish.
