## What is Exerzio?

Exerzio turns the workouts you already have into a map of your active life.

Every run, ride, walk and hike in Apple Health is drawn on one map, so you can see the shape of where you actually go — not a list of numbers, but the territory you have covered.

TWO WAYS TO SEE THE MAP
Atlas shows your routes on one map, with no grid and no game. Tiles turns the world into a fixed grid of squares: pass through one during a workout and it is yours. The grid is the same everywhere and never moves, so a square you claimed years ago stays claimed. Chase new tiles, your max square, and your max cluster.

BUILT TO STAY SMOOTH
Workout routes are pre-rendered into a local pyramid of map tiles, so panning and zooming stays fast with thousands of workouts instead of redrawing every path each frame.

YOUR DAY, YOUR HISTORY
Today gives you steps, energy, distance and workouts at a glance. Activity is the health log — sleep, body measurements, hydration, mindfulness. Workout is your history, with personal records and the detail of every session.

RECORD A WORKOUT
Start a workout from the map and it records with its route, then saves to Apple Health so every app you use sees the same training. If something goes wrong mid-session, nothing is lost: the recording is preserved and can be finished later.

DUPLICATES, HANDLED
If two devices both wrote the same workout to Health, Exerzio recognises the duplicate and excludes it from totals, charts and share cards — without deleting anything from Apple Health.

MAKE SOMETHING WORTH SHARING
Create Studio turns your data into cards: a day, a week, a month, a single workout's route, or your explorer tiles. The workout share editor lets you frame the map by hand, choose a format for where it is going, and pick which stats appear.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Widgets for today's progress, weekly trends, training, recent sleep and the atlas engine. Siri shortcuts for the things you ask often.

SEND YOUR WORKOUTS TO YOUR OWN SERVER
If you run Dreeve, connect it and Exerzio sends the workout types you choose straight from your iPhone to your own instance. You supply the address and the key. There is no Exerzio relay and no Exerzio account in between.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No account, no Exerzio server, no analytics and no advertising SDK. Your workouts are not published to iPhone-wide search, and Siri answers with distances and directions rather than addresses or coordinates. Map imagery is fetched as you browse, like any map app; your routes are drawn on your device and are never uploaded.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.10 — 2026-10-07

Map - Tile rendering version:
- Your whole route map is now drawn for you: everywhere you have a workout, not only the area you are looking at. It starts when you open the app and continues in the background while you use it.
- New workouts appear on the map without opening the Map tab first.
- Much faster map drawing, most of all when zoomed far out and in places you have been thousands of times.

After updating, Exerzio redraws your routes once. This takes a few minutes on a large workout library and picks up where it left off if you leave the app.

### 1.9 — 2026-10-06

Map
- With Tiles on, tapping a workout path now also shows the tile card, so you can open that workout or see every workout on the tile, even where routes cover the whole tile.

Activity and Personal Records
- A cleaner Personal Records card at the top of Activity.

### 1.8 — 2026-10-05

Activity and Personal Records
- Faster Activity browsing, with saved days appearing while Apple Health refreshes.
- Find Personal Records at the top of Activity, with dedicated Running and Cycling views.
- Track your longest runs and rides alongside your best efforts over standard distances.
- Compare your records in a chart and open qualifying GPS stretches to see the highlighted section of your route.
- Saved record checks are reused, making return visits faster.

Map
- Ordinary visited tiles now use a deeper orange, making them easier to distinguish from the max cluster and max square.
- Change their color with the new Visited tile fill control in Map Layers.

Today and Sleep
- Steps, Activity and Sleep now show the last 7 days, including today, so your charts stay useful at the start of the week.
- Browse earlier 7-day windows and see the same view in Sleep details.

Widgets and Dreeve
- Fixed blank charts and improved spacing in Home Screen widgets.
- Resend a previously synced workout when its original activity is no longer on your Dreeve server, with confirmation before upload.

### 1.7 — 2026-10-03

Workouts
- Running and cycling workouts now show cadence and power when the data is available in Apple Health.
- New Running Dynamics section with average cadence, maximum cadence and average stride length.
- Clearer cadence charts and workout analysis, ordered by heart rate, elevation, cadence, power and splits.
- Faster workout-history loading: cached workouts stay visible while Apple Health refreshes.

Dreeve
- Workout exports now include available cadence and power readings.
- Resend previously uploaded workouts to include newly supported data.
- Choose individual workouts or select all workouts of a type, with progress and results shown for each workout.
- Improved resend reliability and recovery when an import needs attention.

Map
- The Map now centers on your current location when available, with your latest workout route as a fallback.

### 1.6 — 2026-10-01

Map: Tap a route, then tap the box showing its type and duration to open the workout.

Workouts:
- New Download GPX button at the bottom of every workout with a route. Exerzio builds the file from the full-detail route in Apple Health and opens the share sheet, so you can save it to Files, AirDrop it, or import it into Strava, Garmin Connect, Komoot and other apps.

Health metrics:
- HRV and respiratory rate on Today now show your daily average, so a single unusual reading no longer stands in for your whole day.
- Open either one to switch between three views: Daily average, Daily values (every reading) and Sleep (only readings taken while you were asleep). The list below the chart follows your choice.
