Was ist EXHIBIT?

EXHIBIT ist ein Kommunikationstool, welches virtuelle Präsentationen von Produkten oder Produktentwürfen ermöglicht. Ähnlich wie bei einem Videocall können sich verschiedene Teilnehmer in einem Gesprächsraum treffen und miteinander unterhalten. Allerdings wird dabei nicht das eigene Video übertragen, sondern ein von ihnen zur Verfügung gestelltes 3D Modell. Dieses Modell können dann alle Teilnehmer auf ihren Geräten in Augmented Reality betrachten und gemeinsam darüber beraten.

Welche Inhalte machen Sinn?

Grundsätzlich sind alle Arten von Modellen für EXHIBIT geeignet. Dies können Produktprototypen, bereits existierende Produkte oder auch Architekturentwürfe sein. Sie werden gemeinsam mit Ihren Kunden oder Kollegen diese Modelle betrachten können und mit ihnen interagieren. Das bedeutet: sie können z.B. durch ein Architekturmodell in realer Größe laufen oder auch sehr kleine Bauteile einer Maschine vergrößern und dreidimensional im Raum betrachten.
Sollten die Modelle Animationen beinhalten, können diese abgespielt werden. Dies geschieht für alle Betrachter gleichzeitig und in Echtzeit.
