It's big drawback is that it saves an annoying copy of the photo for which metadata is modified. There is no video support. Since I was unable to try it out beforehand, I have no other option but to submit this review and wish I didn't have to pay 2.99 to find this out. ### 2/5 — Meh *2016-01-17* Spotty performance, authors not keeping up with system updates, updates of the app are far and few in between. When it does work, it does what it says, otherwise, it messes up constantly. Saves the wrong picture in the wrong place, confusing GUI, nothing flashy, plain. I suggest looking for something else, I know I am. ### 1/5 — Unbrauchbar! *2015-07-20, version 2.34* Hat man mehrere tausend Bilder gespeichert, ist es mit dem mikrigen Übersichtsfenster praktisch nicht möglich etwas zu finden. Die Navigation innerhalb der App ist miserabel, ständig muss man die App verlassen und neu starten. Dafür auch noch Geld zu kassieren, ist eine Frechheit! Fazit: Finger weg!!! ### 1/5 — FAIL *2015-06-29* Doesn't see exif data that other exif viewers can and/or substitutes random data (like for location). This (obviously) renders it completely useless. I'm disappointed, because it promised to do exactly what I needed, which is copy the data from one photo to another. Alas… ### 3/5 — OK, but not enough. *2015-02-07* I bought this app hoping to add the metadata so that I could give my images titles/descriptions and such which would be retained and uploaded to Facebook and the like. Doesn't work for that. Image data appears to be saved and viewable only within the app itself, which for me is practically useless. I haven't really used it for removing the GPS data; which the description says is very useful. I can see that it will do that; but I don't know if that stripped data will stay with the image once it's uploaded to a social networking site; which is surely why you would use that feature. I will have to test that and see if it works; but really I didn't buy it for that, so I'm disappointed. ### 1/5 — Don't Waste Your Money *2014-09-14* You cannot edit exif data only delete and remove data. ### 2/5 — Doesn't edit video meta *2014-06-14* Wish the info would have specified photo edits only. I will add 4 stars when this issue is fixed (yes indeed, if this issue is fixed, the app becomes very powerful) ### 1/5 — Leider ohne Funktion *2019-01-22, version 2.40* Die App wird anscheinend nicht richtig installiert, jedenfalls taucht sie im Einstellungs-Menu (ipad mini) nicht auf. Beim laden eines Bildes wird auf die Ortungsfreigabe hingewiesen, auch da ist die App nicht vorhanden. Schade, mich wundert, dass es so etwas in den Store schafft. Null Sterne, leider! ### 1/5 — Funktioniert einfach nicht *2019-01-22, version 2.40* Ich habe diese App eigentlich gekauft, um die EXIF Infos meiner iPhone Videos zu editieren. Gut, wer nicht lesen kann, ist selber schuld: es lassen sich nur Fotos editieren. Videos werden in der App gar nicht angezeigt. Das Problem ist aber, dass auch beim Editieren von Fotos nur die Fehlermeldung kommt, dass nur jpeg unterstützt wird und sich dann die App zum Homebildschirm zurück begibt. Es lässt sich kein einziges Foto editieren. Shame. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works well *2015-11-25* I edited a photo, changed the date fields (all three of them), and the photo showed up at the proper position in the "moments" timeline, reflecting the date that I had set. The one field you can't change however, is the TITLE of the photo - so in the "camera roll" section of the photos app, the photo will appear wherever it first appeared when you first added that photo to the camera roll. That's because in "Camera Roll" the photos are sorted by their names and every time you add a photo to it, by whatever means, that photo gets a new name, namely, the next higher number than the photo before it. In "Moments" however, the photos are sorted by date and this app allows you to change the date (along with a whole host of other metadata) such that the photo will then appear in the timeline that you set for it. I have not yet experimented with gps data. ### 5/5 — Perfect! *2014-05-03* Get rid of the ridiculous amount of metadata that gets slathered all over photos. With some photo/video editing apps requiring things like location services, take control of your data by quickly removing all identifiable information. Das hab ich gesucht und für den Computer nicht gefunden. Nach Bildbearbeitung mancher Apps sind die EXIF Daten nicht mehr korrekt. Hiermit kann ich die Daten eines Fotos in ein anderes übernehmen. I like to keep my photos in date order and sharing a lot of photos by photo streams this is not always possible. This app did exactly that for me but it does much more. It's important for me to find apps that have been updated within 6 months. Anything older I really don't want to see. This app was updated recently updated and is compatible with iOS 6 and iPhone 5. I'm happy with my purchase. ### 4/5 — Very good App for removing/altering metadata *2018-05-31* I was surprised to not see any reviews, so Here goes: I keep this app in my photo toolbox. Being able to remove or modify metadata is important to you. Example: post to social media, but remove the GPS coordinates of your house. Or you want to add info, like the photo author. The only drawback is there is another App called EXIF viewer. I have both, but I really only want one app to do it all. Sie könnte optisch etwas gefälliger sein: statt durch die lange Liste der Parameter zu scrollen, könnten diese in verschiedene Bereiche zusammengefasst werden. So ist es etwas umständlich, führt aber genauso zum Ziel.
