It worked great then. But in 2026, mid-May, it’s completely unusable. It will show the EXIF data…mostly, although there are times I edit the data elsewhere and it never shows in this app. Another app here will pick it up immediately. I’m not sure if the developers are still actively working on this project, but I would find another app that is currently being updated to work with the newer versions of iOS. This App displays incorrect ‘exposure time’ for long exposures, by Apple’s Night shoot feature, and calculates the wrong time for ‘hours ago’ if it’s for when the image was taken. It is possibly using the edited time stamp On my iPhone 11 pro running IOS 18 ### 3/5 — Not good for film scans *2024-10-05, version 6.3* I bought this hoping to add film info to metadata on digital scans of 35mm film. I was able to add camera and lens info, but there is no field for adding film data. Bad usability. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2024-09-15, version 6.2* On the plus side you can download the free Lite version to test this out on a few photos, maybe it will do what you need. But of little use to me, I can edit a photo’s title and caption (aka description) using iCloud photos but these don’t reliably carry across into this app and back again. The app also silently changes images from HEIC to JPG (haven’t tested what it does to live or burst photos) - apparently this behaviour is forced on third party apps by Apple Photos. Note also that iOS (16) indexes captions but not titles or keywords from what I can make out. Seems that this app is just a cash cow. Haven’t found a better app yet (even Hashphotos can’t handle keywords properly on iOS) so will use the “ZZ keyword” caption hack for now. I bought the full version, and it used to work just fine. It would save automatically to the camera roll and delete the original upon request. Now it does NEITHER of those things! Why do developers pull good features? Were people literally saying: “Please; this is way too convenient. Please pull the features that make your app useful and make it so that it barely functions.” Absolutely maddening. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPad M4 *2026-03-26, version 6.4* I loved this app on my older iPad, but on my new iPad M4 running iPadOS 26.4, EXIF Viewer version 6.4 (641) doesn’t work. I was able to edit one photo, but after that, whichever photo I select is shown briefly in the edit window and then immediately replaced by the most recent item in my photo library, whatever that happens to be. And they’re not charging a subscription fee. Glad to support a developer like this and would contribute if they want to add a tip jar feature to the app. ### 5/5 — Very nice presentation of EXIF information *2026-06-20, version 6.6* I like the way the presentation of exif information has been done: Selection of views to select photos. Shows if full size image is local or on cloud - simply tap to download full res image. AFAIK the information is all there and correct. But I only normally edit date/time and location. Location editing is nice as you can edit the lat/long numerically OR just long press to select the pin and then drag. If you select multiple images then you have various options to apply changes to all of them. Minor Improvements I would like to see would be to be able to change the map view to satellite when editing location(you do this in main options only). Also if you go into Settings or Help there is no back arrow (return) top left but you have to select AllPhotos or Albums in the bottom tool bar - puzzled me for a while when first using it. Despite minor niggles I recommend this app as the best out there (I've tried a few), and there is the lite version to try out first before purchasing the full version as I did. ### 5/5 — Fix lỗi giúp admin ơi *2026-02-15, version 6.4* Không mở được google map, chỉ xài được apple map. I downloaded this app and it was quick and easy. Two clicks and it was done. It even saved the finished work in its own newly created folder.
